I use this as a face astringent . Works beautiful. My face gets a mild cleanse and does not dry out. Its an affordable substitute to those pricier brands. I have used this and other equate cleansers for years and never had a break out or funky thing happen to my skin.

Great product for the price too. It has just the amount of sting I'm always looking for when using witch hazel. This was way more product than other brands for less and works very well. I am grateful.

This stuff is a MUST for men who not only shave on the regular but shave their entire heads outright. It is very soothing with no irritation or burn whatsoever, and just a faint scent of witch hazel. It dries quickly, leaving you feeling nice and fresh, with no greasy residue or etc. Its a great start to any aftershave regiment, followed by a nice scented aftershave lotion, and some cologne. The stuff makes any aftershave or cologne last almost all day. Buy in confidence, gents.

The best basic astringent for my face applied after cleansing skin. I've found this one to be more effective and mild than any other expensive designer brands. Can't do my beauty cleansing routine without it. Also, prevents and controls breakouts. Especially effective for those with oily skin.

My favorite toner. I use it everyday when I get out of the shower, after washing my face. It leaves me feeling clean in my greasy T zone with out drying out my cheeks. Blemishes are greatly reduced if I use this regularly... forget to use it on a trip or run out and blemishes definitely come back.

I have oily skin. I wanted to try witch hazel as a toner. This broke me out so bad!!! I usually use good molecules but wanted to try something different. I don't usually break out to stuff even when I try new products. When I tell you a NASTY RASH. Like I was embarrassed to go to work. Like little white bumps everywhere, not pimples. Tiny rash bumps. And I'm brown skin. It just looks disgusting, I'm going on day two and I think it's spreading. Like I have goosebumps. NEVER AGAIN.

I have used this brand for quite some time without issue. However, the last bottle I purchased smells just like acetone! I use this for the whole family, littles and all, so this is unacceptable to me. I will be switching to the slightly more expensive Dickinson brand that has superior quality control. I don't usually write reviews but did this one in hopes that Walmart will check on the latest lot of Equate witch hazel because I fear there was some mix up with the Equate nail polish remover! So for now, I definitely recommend others to spend a bit more on the Dickinson brand so you don't waste your money or your time on returning the Equate.
