We used this icing to decorate our gingerbread men this year. It was easy enough for the kids to use and they really enjoyed writing with it. The texture was just right for our purposes and would be good for writing on cakes as well. The taste was very similar to the canned frosting. I usually make my own icing but since we had a lot of cookies to make, I really appreciated the convenience of having it pre made and ready to pipe. The kids had so much fun decorating their cookies and we will definitely be buying these again to have another cookie decorating party.

This is a cheap and easy way to decorate your cookies, cakes or brownies. It can really be used for any dessert or to eat by itself. it isn't super sweet like actual frosting but adds a different flavor. I use it to write on cakes which is pretty easy. The lid can be a pain to pull off sometimes and you need to squeeze hard to get it out but it's not a big deal. I do think it would kind of be a pain to decorate a bunch of cookies using this as the main frosting but it would still work. The consistency is frosting mixed with gel. Overall this is a great item to have to use for baking and you definitely can't beat the price.

This packaged pink frosting is so fun and tastes pretty good. We use it when my daughter wants to make cookies and decorate them and bake cakes. It's very easy for her to handle the frosting pouch and lasted for many baking occasions. The pink color was my daughter's favorite. It's bright and lively. Will definitely be buying these again and again

We really enjoyed both the taste and consistency of the frosting. The piping tip made it very easy to apply. We used it for cake pop decorating. The swirl looked very nice and it dried hard enough to place in bags. The color is a vibrant pink. It would be nice for a baby shower. The taste is sweet without being overly so. We liked it a lot.

This frosting checks allllll of the boxes, made with high quality ingredients, and is an absolute hit with everyone that tries it! The texture is just perfect, allowing for a smooth and easy spread, with a creamy mouth feel. And how can you go wrong with the adorable little all-naturally colored sprinkles!? This has become my go-to frosting for all cakes, cookies and cupcakes I make at this point.

This is a plain, simple, delicious, sweet tasting cookie icing. It's pink in color, taste sweet like regular cookie icing. It doesn't have any particular flavor like strawberry or cherry, just sweet, delicious icing. The top is pull off although it was a bit hard for me to get the top off. Once the top is off, you can cut the tip to however big you want the opening. If you are trying to make fine, intricate designs then cut less of the tip off, maybe to first line. If you want a larger tip to dispense more icing, you cut more off. There are 3 lines on the tip of the icing for you to cut wherever you want. The icing is almost gel like, not sure if it hardens as we basically ate the cookie 4 minutes after decorating with the icing! My first time trying Great Value cookie icing and found it tasty and easy to use but a little sweeter than I normally would like.

Im not using this product because of the ingredients. The packaging is nice looking and easy to use for decorating baked goods. But I do not eat propylene glycol and it's listed twice in the ingredients. My son uses propylene glycol to de-ice the airplanes at the airport. This ingredient should not be in frosting.
