I buy this to mix with instant soup. It is very handy to have on hand when all you have to cook with is a microwave. It goes well with the maggi chicken soup with rice or noodles ( both at Walmart), for example. You can pack it in a carry on bag, etc. I would add two of the chicken packets to one Maggi soup packet.

I prefer the flavored type for better taste, but these are solid when you're having issues with gastritis or GERD and need extra protein. My biggest issue with these currently is the price keeps going up per packet. Likely from the nonsensical tariffs, but it's still annoying when on a budget.

very yummy!! i expected shredded chicken, this is cubed, but still good!! perfect for an omelette or salad or baked potato; the pouch is so convenient for on the go, and it's a fantastic price!! solid purchase!!

I add this to microwave rice for a quick prep high protein lunch. It has good flavor with less sodium than other shelf stable foods per serving.

the small squte cut pieces re a choking hazzard for young children and elderly. I dont like the taste or texture. I prefer canned.

Flavor was good but had a lot of juice/ liquid in bottom of pouch, unlike tuna pouches and other chicken pouches. Just saying.

I bought this a few times. Multiple packs each time. For my cats. But today really made me wonder if I'll ever even buy a can of tuna again. I opened the package and when I say the worst smell I've ever smelt in my life, that doesn't sound bad enough. I opened, apartment instantly filled with this putrid smell. I opened another package and it smelled fine. Both with the same expiration date. Now I have 4 other packs from today's order and I'm unsure if I'll even open them. I couldn't rid my apartment of that smell. Windows open, fans on, candles sprays NOTHING helped. It took about an hour and a half with fans in windows for it to be ok to breathe. Imagine if I had no sense of smell and trust expiration dates? Lesson learned. Do not buy ever again and make cats fresh chicken. The smell was so strong and bad I had to empty and waste a jar of sauce just so I could put the package in something like that, then realized the garbage still stunk. I then had to just take the whole bag to the dumpster.

DISGUSTING 🤢 ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY! 0/10 Do NOT Recommend!!! So I normally buy the great value chunk chicken in the 12 oz can and they recently went up on the price... typical Walmart so... I saw this thinking it has the same name as what I normally get and I can buy multiples for less. Big mistake! Big HUGE!! just because they bear the same name don't mean that they share in flavor or texture. Upon opening the pack I was unpleasantly greeted with this chemical smell.. looking inside the pack that was filled with mostly air I found down at the bottom clumped together what I can only call mystery pellets because I can't call it meat although they tried to make it look like meat and upon tasting it... it was as if they TRIED to add chicken FLAVOR! And the texture was hard and chewy all at the same time.. if you can imagine that! Absolutely disgusting! there is a reason it's only $1.50 because it is not real chicken and if it is real meat then it has been genetically modified beyond redemption! Please I BEG YOU do NOT buy this product it is nasty, not the same as the chunk canned version, and a complete waste of money. Please Learn from my mistake 🙏🙏🙏

truly awful. hard little pebbles of what was supposedly chicken. horrible texture, bland taste. just a big fat no. threw the remaining packs away.
