My daughter has suffered from IBS since 10 years old. This Lactaid has literally saved her since she discovered it when she was 14. She can eat ice cream, fettuccine Alfredo and so many other “creamy:milky” foods. She carries it whenever she goes. It calms her anxiety about foods so much! I am so thankful there's a product like this to help my daughter be able to enjoy foods that her family and friends eat next to her. Thanks Lactaid!!!!!
I am lactaid intolerant. I avoided eating most dairy products. I can eat a variety of dairy products now. I take 1 pill right before I eat dairy products. I use it regularly now. Walmart delivers my purchases right to my door. I used to shop in the store, I'd forget to buy a lot of items I needed. Now I always have lactaid on hand.
I've used this product for years, and am thankful it was developed. I wish it came in a maximum strength so 3 caplets didn't have to be taken at once. However considering the fact that it allows me the ability to consume dairy, this is currently my go-to OTC (over the counter) medication. Definitely Recommend
cheapest at walmart! fast acting which is great when lactose intolerant price has gone up over the past 5 years by about 2$ but the off brand majes u take more per dairy serving then name brand amd chewables are good for kids but as long as ur an adukt the pills are better as long as you swallow it correctly ciz it will leave a chalky type of taste where it gets stuck which is nasty!
I grew up eating and drinking dairy so was surprised when i started noticing severe cramping when I drank milk (or even had it in cereal) and milks shakes, it progressed until I could not even eat too much cheese in Italian dishes. I tried a free product years ago and it worked! I originally bought the chewables and they have a vanilla flavor and really are pretty good. I switched to the tablets because there was a manufactures incentive to save $3. I do have to take 2 of these and still get mild cramps but they are no longer severe. The cramping was the only symptom I had. I do not get drowsy and there are no negative affects.
I haven't had milk in quite a while and got extremely sick the last time I had heavy cream or condensed milk but I had a dessert with both heavy cream and condensed milk in it and didn't have any issues at all taking this before I ate. It's been a miracle for me. I forgot to take it and had cheese and started getting cramps so I took one pill, and in no time, the cramps were gone. I'm so glad my sister suggested these to me.
I have been using these chewable tablets for years and enjoy the taste. I am usually eating ice cream or something else that is sweet so the flavor of this product only enhances the flavor of the snack. I also feel that being able to eat clam chowder with cream is worth a minor sweet taste of the tablet before my first bite. It eliminates the suffering I would experience later on and is well worth it!
This is the only product that I can take that allows me to consume dairy. I take one Lactaid and then I am able to eat any type of dairy during the day. It has made a huge difference in my life and am so thankful for this product.
Discovered that I experience lactose intolerance about 7 years ago. When I started taking the tablets before eating any dairy, the symptoms of excessive gas and bloatung subsided. Amazing product - it is so worth the price!
These do not work. I've always bought the store brand in individual paper packets with no issues. Tried using these as I figured they'd be easier at home instead of getting paper out all the time but taking them is as if I never took anything at all. Upset stomach and uncomfortable all day. Never experienced this with the off brand and they're much more affordable. Will not purchase again and can't recommend these.
