Great dresser. Bought for my son’s room. Love the safety feature only being able to open one drawer at a time to keep it from tipping. Plus, it comes with a strap so you can mount it to the wall to prevent further tipping. Sauder customer service is great. We received ours with the two broken drawer wheels and they immediately remedied it when we called them and got the new part shipped out to us in two days. Easy to assemble as well. Quality piece
I was hesitant of buying because of the mixed reviews and I’m glad I made the purchase. Thankfully my mom put it together she’s such a handyman lol and it took her about 1hr 30mins to put together while I sat next to her giving her the parts. You have to make sure you lock the screws if not it will come apart so as long as you do it right it’s sturdy and looks beautiful.
It took me about 1-1/2 hours to assemble this. Probably because I was watching tv and getting distracted. I took everything out of the box and read the directions as I went. What I really liked is all the parts are in separate baggies and labeled accordingly. It was great! There should be no parts left after assembly. This dresser is going to be used for a spare bedroom and not high usage.
Just pay attention when assembling, two of the fastening parts look the same, one style is slightly deeper than the other and didn’t realize till I was near finished and couldn’t undo what I did. The dresser still works just as good just not pleasing to look at the protruding fasteners in the inside of the drawers.
I love the look and it’s perfect for what I need it for. BUT, the product came with a few minor damages. I couldn’t wait so I avoided exchanging it. However, the drawers get jammed. There is a lever on the side of each one and it seems I have to continuously take the drawer out and insert it again for smoother pulls. It’s very annoying. I can’t figure out why it’s doing that. The first pull is fine but when I’m in and out of it, they start to jam. Mind you, I’m not being rough or anything. The assembly was tedious but the instructions were very helpful and necessary. If you’re picky about those things, I’d avoid buying this product. It’s pretty annoying when you’re in a hurry because it feels like I’m going to break it. One side seems to come out a little further than the other. Then it Jams. Overall, 7/10. Looks great. Quality… eh.
Bought two of these. They both were easy to build. One has stayed in good condition and I was able to put my child’s clothes in it. No problems. The second one started breaking down when it came time to put the drawers in. They will not stay set in the space correctly. Even empty, they fall down into lower drawers. After many attempts at trying to fix it, we ended up throwing it away due to no close Walmarts to return.
So this dresser was easy to assemble, and it works, but the main issue is every once in awhile, the drawers will have some resistance to them when opening and closing. When they work properly, they slide effortlessly and seamlessly. So I did some investigating and I believe what is causing the resistance issue, is the drawer wheels will sometimes drag while inside the drawer rails that are preinstalled into the left and right walls of the dresser. This is because the preinstalled drawer rails have a very small design flaw, the surface of the inside rail edge that the drawer wheels slide on is not smooth enough, the surface is jagged and almost feels like sandpaper. If it was not for this one small flaw, this dresser would be perfect, and the drawers themselves are of good quality.
I purchased this dresser from Walmart, and I am very disappointed with its quality. The dresser is poorly constructed, with pieces that fit together like puzzle pieces instead of being securely screwed in place. This design flaw causes the entire unit to fall apart if moved or if the drawers are opened. The drawers themselves are uneven and not securely attached, leading to them falling out when attempted to be opened. I understand that a $100 dresser may not be the highest quality, but this product does not even meet basic standards. Building the dresser was time-consuming, and now I can't even return it because I can’t figure out how to repack it into the original box. Overall, I would not recommend this dresser and am deeply disappointed with this purchase.
You can only open one drawer at a time but even then some times it thinks one is still open. Pulling on the handles to open the drawers caused the drawer fronts to come off the front of the drawer and they fall off the tracks. This is the absolute worst dresser I've seen
The dresser drawers will not stay on the tracks and fall off with every use. It is so hard to use this dresser because of that. I wish I had not bought it. I was so excited for it and it looked so nice in my son’s room. I had saved money to get him a new dresser only for it to be a pain and the dresser drawers fall in and look bad.
