I bought this to heat up pizza in the oven and it made it slightly crispy and it just came out great. The only issue I have is it slightly bigger than my toaster oven but that is my fault. Warmed up my pizza perfectly. Have not used it to make a pizza from scratch yet
I'm really happy with this pizza pan. It's sturdy, easy to use, and helps my pizzas cook evenly with a nice crispy crust. Cleanup is simple, and it has held up well after multiple uses. It's perfect for homemade pizzas, frozen pizzas, and even warming up leftovers. A great kitchen item that gets plenty of use in my house!
We actually make pizzas at home using Walmart's pizza dough and cheese... their pizza dough spreads out perfectly for this size pizza. 450 degrees for 17 minutes... perfect crust. We use pam when working with the dough and on the pan to prevent it from sticking...
We have always had pizza once or twice a week. It was getting expensive. I started, making my own dough and sauce. I can make 2- 12in pizzas and cheese sticks and still not pay what we would if we ordered out. Dont get me started if you have it delivered. But I needed pans. Some people didn't feel like they were eating real pizza if it wasn't round. 🙄 Found this pan. Then I found this listing, 3 pans for less than $9, yes, please! I read the reviews. Some good some bad. I found that my pans weren't flimsy, thin, or warped. All 3 cooked evenly. The dough had a crisp. I'm very pleased with them. All 3 are the same quality.
Mainstays nonstick 12" pizza pan I like that these pans can be used to bake more than pizzas, I can make garlic bisquits, and buttermilk biscuits, an even bake cookies on them they really serve a great purpose when it comes to baking, and even warming up meals on them. They are the perfect size for everything and make cooking , and baking easier. The cleanup is almost nothing which is what I really like . they are easy to store, and are affordable, very useful to me.
One of these to make homemade pizza. I sprinkled some flour on the pan before putting the dough and it didn’t stick. I didn’t have to use parchment paper or anything.
Some toaster ovens are very small but most today do accommodate a 12" inch pizza pan. My husband passed away a year ago. I relay that fact because for years, we'd usually eat pizza on Friday night. On Friday he would say 'We going to Italy tonight?' and I would reply 'Yep'. Even though he is gone, I keep the tradition going. Now I use a toaster oven instead of the stove oven. I use my toaster oven for most of my baking these days. What I enjoy about this Mainstays Non-Stick pizza pan: It prevents my toaster over from getting pizza droppings on the burners. The pan is non-stick and I can wash it off quickly in the sink and dries quickly too. In addition, this Mainstays pizza pan cooks my pizza a tad faster with a nice crisp crust. I should mention, I rarely make a pizza from scratch. I use this pan for frozen 12" or smaller pizza's. Dare I mention price? I rarely do mention price in my reviews but I must say that for the extremely low price of the Mainstays pizza pan, I am certain without a doubt, I can't go wrong with it. I should also mention, not to put this pan in the dishwasher. It is non-stick so it IS best to hand wash it. Ok, tomorrow is Friday, see ya in Italy! :)
Tell a question the pans are extremely affordable. They are probably best suited to reheat pizza or cook frozen pizza. Fresh pizza dough, sticks to the pan, even when olive oil or a nonstick spray is applied. The result becomes parts of a pizza that come out attached to the pan. They are probably best suited to reheat pizza or cook frozen pizza. Fresh pizza dough, sticks to the pan, even when olive oil or a nonstick spray is applied. The result becomes parts of a pizza that come out attached to the pan. You can’t slice the pizza on the pan as it will immediately scratch and then the pan. The pants were delivered from the store with dents and scratches. When trying to see if one could be used, upon drying rust formed.. Essentially their best use is serving
I bought these to try and replace two pans I bought about 9 years ago. I still have those. They were Mainstay, I believe 9in pans. The 9in pans look like the 16in pans they're selling now. The 9in were great they fit in a toaster oven, almost any frozen store bought pizza would fit on them and the non-stick coating hasn't come off, never scratched. These 12in pans are not very good. They have a black non-stick coating that chips off. The underside edges of the pan where they fold the metal over is rusting. The top of the pan has a 1/4in or 1/2in lip, not sure what that's for. They don't fit in the toaster oven. They wouldn't have fit in my previous bigger toaster oven. If I'd have known I'd have bought 5 or 6 of the old 9in pans.
Very flimsy and slick. The pizza just about fell off the pan when taking it out of the oven. And when trying to cut the pizza it slides all over the place. Its nonstick alright, but way too slick. Its also flimsy. Would not recommend.
