Thank you, Dollar tree for going up on your tinfoil. I would've never tried the great value tinfoil. Let me tell you that tinfoil is just as good as Reynolds. If not better you would never guessed you were using the greater value brand and it's the same price that you pay a dollar tree for that thin crap.
This aluminum foil does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It’s strong enough for everyday cooking, baking, and food storage without tearing easily. The roll is convenient to use, and the quality is solid for the price. A dependable kitchen staple I always keep on hand.
The equivalent (in some cases better) than popular name brands that are far more costly. Works well for everything from wrapping fresh hamburger patties to freeze, to lining baking pans for that mini roast in the oven. Quality is great -- the savings are even better.
I usually get Reynold's equivalent, but I wanted to test this house generic for quality. It's a solid product! The only criticism is that the the box design doesn't close so well for quick storage, and that I noticed way more wrinkles in the roll. I imagine that wrinkles might disturb some people depending on usage, say - for art/craft projects or perhaps social media presentation. If you're fine with those points, this beats Reynold's by far for price and quality.
I tended to accept the high price of other brands as the norm for aluminum foil since it is a household product that is a necessity but often overlooked, until I tried The Great Value Brand. I realized the quality is equal to, or better than other brands that are priced much higher. I would highly recommend the Great Value aluminum foil over any other brand that I have used. I can't believe how much I have spent over the years, when Great Value offered a better product at a much better price all along.
This foil works great for everyday use. I don't cook anymore so I don't require heavy duty foil. I've always used Reynolds Wrap but it's gotten so expensive I decided to try Great Value brand. It's great and lesser expensive. I will continue using it.
Good foil, but the box needs work. it's both a bit difficult to open and a bit dangerous to store as the top piece of cardboard does not stay in place, so the serrated edge can bite into your hand if you store it in a drawer with other kitchen items.
The price is okay, but I found this foil to be pretty flimsy. It tears more easily than I'd like, especially when wrapping food or lining pans. We ended up switching to the heavy-duty version instead, which works much better for what we need. Fine if you're looking for a basic budget option, but I prefer the heavy-duty foil.
Usually Greta value products are my go to, this is not. I get it's cheaper tin foil so not sure what I expected but the quality just isn't there like the other products of theirs I have tried. I would recommend spending the extra few dollars for the brand name tin foil. This one tears and punctures too easily causing a lot of waste.
The end of the roll INSIDE THE BOX was damaged rendering roll entirely unusable. Walmart's solution was to bring it in for a review %26 POSSIBLE refund. I live 35 miles from town. So my solution is to dispose of it, write a review And repurchase from family Dollar store,
