Great Value Slide Cutter Plastic Wrap, 400 sq ft

This wrap works better than the name brand plastic wraps. I have tried all of the others on the market and I like the Great Value better. It does the same job at a better price. These days every penny counts, so if you want to save money and get a better quality product you need to try this plastic wrap.

This has been my go-to plastic wrap for the past several years. It comes with the slide cutter to make portioning off a piece of wrap very easy. Thank goodness for whomever came up with this slide cutter idea. No More hassle of ending up with a wad of plastic wrap sticking to itself.

I make subs every spring and summer holiday. Subs just like we use to buy at Kmart in the 70s and 80s. The most frustrating part has ways been wrapping the subs in the plastic wrap, but it's a part of the decades-long tradition. That nightmare is now over! I made my subs this past Easter weekend, and using the Great Value Plastic Wrap with the built-in slider cut was such a blessing, and wow, it cut so easily! Thank you, Great Value, for making my kitchen life SO MUCH easier! Do yourself a favor. Don't be skeptical, the slider really REALLY works and you won't have to deal with clingy plastic wrap that sticks together, gets wadded up in a bunch, and takes forever to straighten out. Those days will be long gone. Trust me!

We like plastic wrap that sticks to bowls, plates, sandwiches, and itself. This product does just that. And the slide box actually works very well with one minor exception. When opening a new box, you must first open the long slot to access the wrap. The slot is a long oval, not just a slit in the cardboard. The edge of the opening closest to the slider is perforated for easier opening and the top of the slot is just indented so the whole thing will work as a flap that can be used to close the opening. The issue is at the far corners of the perforated part where it turns upwards and ends at the indented part. When cutting the perforations it's too easy to tear the cardboard at either (or both) of those corners. Sooner or later with use the plastic wrap will hang up on that torn part. Not good. A small piece of duct tape solves that problem. Aside from that, this stuff is perfect.

I used to have the 300 commercial version before Walmart stopped selling.IT was better than the name brands. this one is crap and no stick as it should. thank goodness I found out before the return period expired. i would give 0 stars also since oddly its more expensive due to the slider feature. I'm going to target now for this.

I have used the Premium plastic wrap 300 ft with slide cutter since you started selling it and loved it. This week I got the 400 ft with cutter, but it is NOT premium. It is not the same plastic wrap and doesn't cling like the premium does. Did you stop making the premium?

This film no longer clings to the bowl. I have used this for years, and I just bought a new book a few weeks ago. Same bowls I have always used and the wrap would not even stick one bit.

I have always used the premium 300 ft premium plastic wrap, but it has not been available. I bought the 400 ft and it does not cling at all, it is useless.

Bought this for years and loved it. Now it's terrible. Doesn't cling to anything. I have to use tape to make it stick.

I loved this wrap before this 6 purchased. It doesn't look the same or cling as well. If something works- leave it be
