Do you need a snack bag? This is a great option much cheaper than the namebrand and works just as good. We very rarely have any issue and this is the standard budget option in our home. It is currently the cheapest option out there for where we shop. Keep this on your AutoShip or put it in your preferred items for keeping your household running. If you have kids that take their own lunch, this is a great option for them to be able to fill their own snacks at the beginning of the week and prep what they'd like to take for their lunches.
These are excellent sandwich bags. As basic storage bags they work equally well. I also use them to separate meat items (like chicken pieces) I bought in bulk before stuffing them into a Great Value gallon sized freezer bag for, er, freezing. This saves me from having to break out the hammer and chisel when I only want a couple drumsticks for cooking.
Damaged bags. So far every bag used has the same issue. When opening …one side of the top of the bag rips off and then it is very difficult to get the bag open. The tore area is directly above the zipper which allows nothing to hold on to when opening. The bag looks normal until opening. Appears to be a manufacturing issue. Just wanted to make you aware of the defect. Have a good day!
I don't know if quality went out the window or if this batch is bad. Every time I go to open one, the top of one side rips off. Then, you have to attempt to open the zipper with your finger nail or throw it away %26 cross your fingers that the next one works :( These used to be my go to sandwich bags.
One out of every 4 or 5 bags breaks apart (clear plastic pulling tab separates at the seal) when you try to open it for the first time rendering it mostly useless. Any savings that I would have gotten purchasing Great Value brand instead of the name brand winds up in my trash can unused and broken.
The seal was broken on every. single. bag. I go to open the bags and they literally ALL ripped at the top on one side. needed these bags for a vacation to put snacks in, ended up re-using the plastic bag they came in instead.
when going to open the bags the top part above the zipper seal rips off. makes it difficult to open them.i did call customer service a few days later and thought i got refunded it.
Almost all of the bags were defective and would not seal. They were unsealed in the box and could not be aligned properly. Had to throw them out after trying to use them but it was past the date I could return them. Usually a happy Walmart brand consumer but will not purchase these again.
I usually buy the Aldi brand and I wish I had this time. The bags in this box aren't 100 percent connected to the zipper portion, so there are holes between the zipper and the bag. Why would I ever want holes in my zipper storage bag? Now I have bags with holes in them that don't seal out the air. The bags leak crumbs and my food is stale. These bags are terrible and I wish I had never bought them. I never will again!
Every. Single. One. SPLIT!! It isn't my first time using baggies—but every one of these split just when trying to open them to use them! Some split above the zip line only to split further once food was in them. Some split down the side right away and went straight into the trash. Some seemed to stay in tact only to be an unwelcome surprise later. Ended up throwing the rest of the box away—a huge waste since I bought the 300-pack. Will never buy again!!!
