I purchased this for the commode in our Sprinter RV. I saw this on the Walmart app when I was looking for what people purchase for an RV. Being a new owner, I trusted the ratings on this and they were spot on. It absolutely eliminates odors and kept the bathroom and the whole RV odor free. Easy to use. Just toss in and flush. If you don't empty your tank often, you might need a second one. We drove our RV 5,200 miles in 2 1/2 weeks and this product kept the odors away. I will purchase this again.

​If you've spent any time in a camper, you know the single biggest fear: the black tank smell. We've all been there. It's a hot day, you flush the toilet, and the dreaded "odor burp" comes up from the tank and stinks up the whole RV. For the first year we had our trailer, I was constantly fighting this, trying different liquids and powders with mediocre results. ​Then I switched to the Walex Porta-Paks, and honestly, they've been a total game-changer. ​The "Ease of Use" is a Lifesaver ​The absolute best part about these is the ease of use. There's no measuring, no spilling sticky blue liquid, and no messy powders. You just... drop a pack into the toilet and flush. That's it. The packet dissolves on its own. They come in a resealable bag, so they're easy to store in the bathroom cabinet without worrying about leaks. ​But Does It Stop the Smell? ​Yes. 100%. This is where they really shine. We've camped in 90-degree heat, and these paks completely neutralize the smell. It's not just a heavy perfume covering up a bad odor; it truly eliminates it. You get a mild, pleasant "fresh" scent (we like the Fresh Scent and Lavender ones), but only when you flush. The rest of the time, there's just no smell at all. ​The Final Test: The "Dump" Station ​You really see how well these work when it's time to dump the tanks. With other treatments, I'd still have... well, "solids" and a lot of toilet paper visible. It was gross and would sometimes clog the outlet. ​The Porta-Paks liquefy everything. When I pull the valve, it all just flows out easily. It makes the entire process faster, and cleaning the tank afterward with the black tank flush is much more effective. I've noticed our tank sensors stay cleaner and read accurately for much longer now, too. ​My Useful Tips for Using Them: ​"Charge" Your Tank: This is the most important tip! After you dump and rinse your tank, close the valve and then add about 2-3 gallons of fresh water back into the black tank. Then, drop your Porta-Pak in. The packet needs water to dissolve and work properly. Never drop it into a dry tank. ​Water is Your Friend: Always use a good amount of water when you flush, especially for solids. These treatments need liquid to break everything down. Don't be stingy with the flush water! ​Hot Weather? Double Up: If it's going to be extremely hot (95°F ) or if we're boondocking for a long weekend with the whole family (heavy use), I'll sometimes throw in a second pak halfway through the trip just to be safe. ​In short, these are a non-negotiable staple in our camper now. The ease of use is unmatched, and the complete smell control gives me peace of mind, especially on hot travel days. It makes the dreaded dump process far less unpleasant. Highly recommend!

I purchased these for a portable camping potty, and my goodness, does it work wonders! The first time we used our camping potty, everything was okay Friday and Saturday, but when Sunday arrived, and we had to empty that thing, good gracious, that thing stank so horribly. I told myself that I would not deal with that again, so I bought these packs. About a month ago, we had a plumbing issue at home where a tree root was literally growing inside our sewage pipe, and we weren't able to use the bathroom for days while the plumbers repaired the issue. Luckily for us, we had the camping potty, and these packs came right on time. I dropped one inside the camping potty, and by the end of the weekend, we could tell the difference between using and not using these packs. It definitely cut down the smell, was easy to use by just dropping it into the container, can be used for an RV Camper toilet as well as a portable potty, it made dumping the potty more tolerable, and it cost a little pretty penny, but it was well worth it.

These are our go to product to keep our toilet in our trailer from smelling. These work really well. If the smell is bad when we haven't used are trailer in a few weeks, I use two of these drop-in packs.

Works as advertised. (Not as good as the old style formaldehyde formulas.) Works the best, out of many that I've tried on the market.. Yes_ I would recommend and I will purchase again.

i have been using these pods for my black tank for about 5 years now. they're very efficient, smell good she don't cost like allot of other products I've used in the past. they do the job and keep the tank smelling good

this is a fantastic product it does exactly what it's supposed to do and that's to keep septic systems or black tank systems from getting stopped up and helps hold down odors as well in between drainings by keeping all solids broken down. thanks for a fantastic product makes my life a lot simpler.

Walex is my go to for treating and cleaning our rv black holding tank. Not only do their products smell good, but they clean the sensors and lubricate the valves while the enzymes work to liquify paper and solid waste. While living in our RV during the work week I believe Walex is the most economical product on the market for all it does.

Used it for our boat heads, with frequent use there was an odor this is definitely helped with the odor. I hope it continues to work for a long period of time.
