It is a nice product and very easy to use. At first I thought those holes were too small but they turned out just fine. Plus the little soccer where you put the strainer on once you pull it out of the cup. I use it every day and it's a very enjoyable experience. Now I want to get a small one as well)))
This tea strainer is easy to use. I recently bought some loose leaf tea that required I get a tea strainer. This is my first time purchasing one. I like that it is stainless steel. this means it will last a long time and want corrode. I look forward to making many cups of tea.
I drink a gallon of unsweetened iced tea a day. I chose this item in my pursuit to move away from tea bags to loose leaf tea. I add three tablespoons of tea to this strainer and there is plenty of room to let the leaves saturate and strain the tea. Exactly what I was looking for. Smaller strainers do not work in enabling a full bodied brew.
Wow, exceeded my expectations! Was concerned the cost might be too much. I was wrong. I use it to make pre and probiotic drinks. The cleanup is great and the drinks are now much more treatable with much less mess!!! Thank you for Spot On performance!!!
Description of the item was spot on. The holes are small enough to filter tea that I removed from a tea bag. (I don't have any loose leaf tea yet. Wanted to see how well it worked before investing in loose leaf tea.) Quality material and easy to clean. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
I have used a lot of tea strainers in my day, and I do believe this is one of my very favorite! The lid is easy to screw on and off, the holes are absolutely perfect, and it's even got a little tray to set it on once you pull it out of the cup or the teapot… And it's a decent size too, which makes it easier for me to brew one of my really big mugs or pictures of tea… I will definitely be buying more!!!
Works as intended and feels good quality. I got the small one and it could easily do a large pot as well as just one smaller cup! There's a lot of room and easy to clean. Definitely a lot of room for your leaves to expand, and also i've never seen any particles in my tea!
This strainer is excellent for loose tea leaves of course, but I especially love it to make a single cup of coffee. The holes are smaller even than my French press, so even your most finely ground coffee will not seep through. The cleaning process can be a bit of a hassle. It is sometimes difficult to shake all the tea leaves/coffee grounds into the trash before washing out in the sink, and there seems to always be stubborn bits that are a pain to completely wash out.
It's my first time using an external tea infuser and I absolutely love the concept. However, I wish I was at the design table because the chain on the strainer should be longer and interlock within itself to prevent the ease of the chain falling into my mug, I would have designed it to be flatter and wider like a hockey puck so it would sit better at the bottom of the mug and I would have made the holes a wee bit bigger so that the nutrients from the tea leaves would infuse into the water much faster.
the brewing strainer is on the bottom n it sits on the bottom in the water, the sides do not allow for brewing, it tilts, its difficult to take the lid off n on and the string gets hot to touch in the water to take it out. it needs a better design n function
