Spot On, Walmart

Chrystie December 4, 2025

Wow, exceeded my expectations! Was concerned the cost might be too much. I was wrong. I use it to make pre and probiotic drinks. The cleanup is great and the drinks are now much more treatable with much less mess!!! Thank you for Spot On performance!!!

I needed a new strainer, but wanted one that I felt had a lasting look about it. After receiving it, I first noticed that it had the look I wanted. Although it's a small unit, as it should be, it looks durable with good mesh holes. It has a nice hook to hang on the side of the cup. It works great, cleans easily, a major plus, and sets in a nice holder. It's definitely well worth the cost.

tea infuser

Richard January 6, 2026

almost did not order, i have used large infusers for years , it took 2 to make my spicy muhsaaluh chai, but with these extra large i only need one and after boiling my tea the infuse is only 3/4 full meaning i am getting plenty of flow during boiling, these are great. i plan on ordering 2 more for the years to come. Love this small tea infuser because of the tiny holes sunce my bulk ginger has lots of tiny pieces. Love the little saucer that comes with this. I got the 2-pack so if a guest wants a different tea, they can have their own. infuser could easily handle 3 heaping Tablespoons so great for making approx 24 oz of tea to share. (I have a large infuser if making 32 oz).

Works well

Doreen November 23, 2025

Description of the item was spot on. The holes are small enough to filter tea that I removed from a tea bag. (I don't have any loose leaf tea yet. Wanted to see how well it worked before investing in loose leaf tea.) Quality material and easy to clean. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Just buy it!

jasmine December 8, 2025

I'm very pleasantly surprised! I purchased this one as a comparison to a popular cooking store brand. Both came at the same time, and my main objective was to have a strainer that did not leak Rooibos tea into my mug. This strainer appeared flimsy but is surprisingly robust! I was emptying out my car after a move and dropped it on the parking lot cement to minimal damage! Very pleasantly surprised and the other one was returned!

A must have !!!

Lana March 27, 2026

It is a nice product and very easy to use. At first I thought those holes were too small but they turned out just fine. Plus the little soccer where you put the strainer on once you pull it out of the cup. I use it every day and it's a very enjoyable experience. Now I want to get a small one as well)))

Fun with Tea

MiMi January 16, 2026

This is a good alternative to tea bags. Apparently, a lot of tea bags have plastic in them that we unintentionally consume. I have been taking the tea out of the bags and using this. This is my first time buying one of these. Pros: its stainless steel…it takes some practice to learn how to use. It has a small hook with a chain that you can put on the cup handle, otherwise the whole thing goes into the cup. (Found out the hard way.) - the holes let a little more tea out into the water than a bag, but it's a small amount and a good trade-off to me. -once you fill the cylinder and put in cup, there is a few seconds when the whole thing floats until the water goes into the holes, then it will sink to the bottom. (Make sure the chain and hook are holding onto the cup handle!) - I did a taste test using a regular tea bag and then taking the tea out and using the cylinder. The cylinder tastes better, but it does have a few more “floaters”. (Tea that's escaped through holes). - after I'm done with the tea, it can composted or easily rinsed out. It's a great way to use your old tea bags without ingesting the plastic from the bag. - this came as a two pack, gave one to my daughter and kept one for myself. -overall happy with purchase.

If I were at the design table...

AnaYhi November 26, 2025

I've never had an external tea infuser before but I love the concept, and even more so love that it's stainless steel. Wish the holes were a little bigger. If the holes were a wee bit bigger, not by much, but a wee bit, the water would flow in and out better requiring less time for the nutrients from the tea leaves to be extracted into the water. So I have to steep my tea leaves longer than usual. If the chain were a bit longer and interlocked within itself, it would be less likely for the whole chain to fall into my mug. As long as the chain is able to drape, it's fine and won't fall into the tea with the hook, ending up drinking with the whole thing inside. Would be ideal to wrap around the handle of the mug then latch onto itself. I wish it was made more flat with a wider base and less cylindrical in shape. Instead of tall, being flat would fit the bottom of the mug better. More hockey-puck-like.

Tea strainer

Kat March 25, 2026

This strainer is excellent for loose tea leaves of course, but I especially love it to make a single cup of coffee. The holes are smaller even than my French press, so even your most finely ground coffee will not seep through. The cleaning process can be a bit of a hassle. It is sometimes difficult to shake all the tea leaves/coffee grounds into the trash before washing out in the sink, and there seems to always be stubborn bits that are a pain to completely wash out.
