3M Automotive Super Strength Molding Tape, Double-Sided Adhesive, 1/2" x 5 ft, 1 Roll

Surprised by the hold power. I took a chance with this "automotive" tape by 3M for its low cost, despite a poor experience using a weaker 3M adhesive that came with an unrelated (lightweight) window kit. While this "automotive" tape doesn't feel very sticky, it's holding firm one week out and doesn't feel like it's about to fall off when I give it a nudge. Go figure. Or should I say, go buy it.

This tape worked great for me. It has kept its strength, and was very easy to apply, cut, trim, and it has maintained its adhesiveness to the surface it was applied to.

I used this to install emblems on my car. the most time consuming part was cutting to size, but totally worth it. has kept my Toyota emblem and Limited letters in place perfectly. on hwy in the rain, they are there to stay.

Used to secure the window visors that kept coming loose during car wash. Very easy to install and I have been completely satisfied with the adhesiveness of this tape.

I've been using his 3M double-sided tape for years to put all of decals and decoration on my truck. It's very strong and the decals don't come off.

3M Automotive Molding Tape helped me to reinstall some trim on my truck. It's super strong and my reinstall looks factory new. Easy to use. Easy to cut. I see why the professionals use it.

To be fair I thought this was a typical double-sided adhesive tape. What I refer to as servo tape. Make no mistake this is NOT servo tape. This just for sticking molding to a very clean painted surface. Beyond that this does not have the adhesive power outside that very narrow band of use. Do not recommend for crafting.

This stuff works, but it is also the same as alien tape from Dollar Tree. I paid more for this, expecting a superior product, but nope, it's just marked-up alien tape. This product should be half the price it is being sold for.

This tape is junk. It wouldn't stick to what I was trying to attach, which is some plastic parts to go back on the edges of 17 Silverado body side pieces. The tape wouldn't even stick to the plastic junk waste of money.

As soon as the car heats up, the tape fails. I don't live in a hot weather state, so the temps shouldn't have gotten outside listed range. The item is maybe a pound in weight total. I even let the adhesive stick for 24 hours before putting the full weight on it. Still fell off.
