3M Desktop Document Holder, 9.37" x 12.0" x 1.75", Holds 150 Sheets, Black, Adjustable Clip, Line Guide

I looked for this type of product, in several brick and mortar stores and all they had was clip boards that would not work for me. My only choice was to order this online. I knit, so I needed a clip board with a stand to hold my printed pattern. This holds my patterns securely and the line guide makes keeping my place even easier. This product is perfect for me.

Had an older version of this stand at work and got this one to use in my home office. Works perfectly with a thick notebook propped up or loose-leaf paper under clip. Stand folds up nicely so the entire thing slides away under my monitor stand when I'm not using it.

I was able to use this product for only three weeks, as I was let go from my new job. Very disappointing that I couldn't use it for very long. Worked great for the time I used it.

I bought two of these and found them to be of good quality, sturdy, yet light. They are perfect for what I need.

What I expected it would be, well perhaps a bit more flimsy than expected but it does the job & at a decent price. No complaints so far!

Plastic frame isn't as sturdy as I would like. Seems like it could easily crack or break.

This document holder is very flimsy. When writing on paper, it has far too much flex to it because the stand is not a sturdy stand. It feels as if the hinges holding the stand could easily break/snap. And speaking of the stand, this style no longer is adjustable. Like the good old days, a bar attached to the stand and the document plate would give far more stability to the document holder. I will be surprised if the hinges that hold the stand do not break sooner than later. The only good feature is the pencil/pen tray. It is roomy, and it has grooves to better hold the paper when not being held by the line guide and/or the top clip. But that really does not make for a really good document holder. It is hard to find this specific style of document holder. So while I am very dissatisfied with the cheaper quality and questionable durability, I am going to use this until it breaks. And when it does, I will definitely not be buying this same document holder again because I really expected better quality from 3M.
