(4 pack) Great Value Spice Cake Mix, 15.25 oz

I couldn't make this cake homemade from scratch any better! This cake was really good, really moist. I made cream cheese icing and after eating this, I think I'm going to add some shredded carrots into it because the spice is just like a carrot cake. But just the cake by itself is really good. I've bought several other Walmart brand cakes before, and they were always really good too.

I'm really surprised by how good this cake mix is. It's a tiny bit heavy in spice but not too bad, and came out of the oven perfectly moist and delicious. (Cooked 24 minutes on 350°F in a 9×13 glass cake pan) Like for great value this is just great. I made a maple cream cheese frosting and it's perfect. I always buy Duncan Hines cake mixes when I use a cake mix but this was good enough I might consider trying Great Value more often. I actually recommend this.

I use this as the base for all of my breads - banana bread, zucchini bread, pumpkin bread - it is quick, easy, tasty and everyone raves about my breads. they are not heavy and dense :)

I love spice cake, so I was glad to see this. It's a bigger cake mix box too. It made a tasty holiday dessert, but I wouldn't mind eating it any time of the year.

Great taste and just as easy to make as the expensive brand name mixes. Im glad it can be purchased year round. Many of these flavors can only be purchased in the fall. I love the flavor and like to eat it year round. Its also great to use two mixes and make a Bundt cake.

Just add eggs, oil, and water, and voila! A perfectly spiced, moist cake that tastes like you put in way more effort than you did. Easy, delicious, and dangerously addictive! Top it with buttercream icing, and you’ll have a dessert that tastes like fall in every bite. Trust me, no one will believe it came from a box.

I saw a recipe using spice cake with pumpkin puree and it was so good. Even though this is considered an off brand it is definitely worth buying.

I used this cake mix to make an apple cake. I am highly disappointed in this cake mix. But I am used to using another brand, which I definitely prefer. It was lacking in the spices, I think.

I used this cake mix to make an apple cake. Making the cake, I could smell the spices, however, after tasting it, the flavor was lacking greatly. The cake honestly didn't taste like anything. The texture was soft and moist. I'm not sure if I got a bad box as I see others complimenting the flavor. Very disappointed.
