I love these things. They are priced right and work just as they should. Come with empty torch fluid containers to fill with your choice of torch fluid. We don't use these on a deck but around an elevated porch, they are nice in height, and the fuel/fluid choices are good as well. We generally use citronella-based fuel to help keep the bugs away.

Purchase these last year. This is a seasonal item.It will only last you one season. ensure you use the caps and that they are on at all times do not let water get back in

They would have been fine, except 1 out of 4 had a busted bottom, so you can't get it into the ground, there's no point at the bottom like the other 3. Other than that, they are your cheap, basic, bamboo torches. You get what you pay for.

If the wick gets slightly wet from rain, the torch is ruined. The bamboo cover intended to protect the wick does not stay in place at all. The entire torch molds easily and frays. You get what you pay for, so i recommend spending a little more to get a better quality torch canister if for nothing else.

We had to put these out because the bamboo on 3 out of 4 of them caught fire from the wick flame. They were flimsy and difficult to stand up and were not safe at all. We had to use our fire extinguisher to put them out. Definitely do not look away from these once lit and buy a nicer quality one.
