OUR COUNTY REGULARLY SPRAYS FOR MOSQUITOES BUT SOMETIMES IT ISN'T ENOUGH. WE USE THESE COILS JUST OUTSIDE MY HUSBAND'S WORK SHED WHICH ALLOWS HIM TO WORK COMFORTABLY. EFFECTIVE AND AFFORDABLE.

Have used these products before and it is time to stock up again for the season. Started off with container of 4 mosquito coils and has 2 stands. Definitely for use outside only and each coil burns for 5-7 hours. You can even set apart several coils every 10 feet for greater coverage. We use ours on the patio the most. Early am and pm is a time when these pests come out. It is useful in places where there is little or no breeze such as patios and porches. Our next experiment is to light and see how effective this works on bees. I don't want to harm or kill them but there are times when they are in such abundance that even the hummingbird feeders are not safe. All we want is to sit on the porch and enjoy it. I will be getting more during the season due to mosquitos are out. There are instructions and pics on product to show how to use and place on the stand. Totally suggest to keep on hand if you live in the lower states or near water.

We live in southern Alabama, where it's hot for most of the year. And hot weather means mosquitos are always out. During the summer months, we have someone spray our yard for mosquitos, but the rest of the year, we don't. That's when these mosquito repelling coils come in very handy. My husband puts one by his grill area when he's cooking outdoors, and I like to keep one on the deck when I sit on it. They do a great job at keeping the mosquitos away. If you're trying to cover larger areas, you'll need to use more than one, but they're at a great price so it's cost efficient to light multiple and have a larger bug-free zone. It's always great to have these set up when we have guests come over to hang out in the backyard so we don't have to worry about them getting bit by mosquitos. The smell is odd, but isn't overwhelming. If I had to name one negative, that would be it, but even that isn't really a negative. It's no worse than bug spray, which is sticky and gross. I'd much rather light one of these coils. They're so easy to use. Just be careful where you put them so they aren't in reach of little ones. Kids can be curious at times.

Buy these now! I was so surprised when I first used these, on how well they work. It does it's job well at keeping mosquitoes away. There are two things that I'm kind of being petty about, is the smell is very strong, smokey smelling. And they are difficult to pull apart, they break pretty easily. But they are overall worth it..

Tried this last night when the kids were in the trampoline and had dinner outside. I would say it worked well. No one complained of mosquitoes. Burns slowly with no noticible odor. Very easy to use.

I love there, have been using them for years! Mine just so happen to be a little broken, but that's fine, I'll still use them! And would buy again!

These mosquitoe repelling coils seem to work pretty well. We started using them one day after seeing a couple mosquitoes. After lighting it we didn't see any more mosquitoes for the time we were sitting on our patio. They burn just like incense and smell similar. It has a pleasant, moderate scent, again like incense. Very easy to use. Great that it comes with 2 stands. The only negative thing is that they are fairly easy to break, so be careful taking them apart from each other. I have used these in a mosquito repellents before. If there's not a lot of wind on your porch or the area that you are using them they work pretty well and don't smoke you out. They don't stink too bad either. And it's really handy that they come with a little stand for them. But be careful that you don't break the coil putting it on the stand. sometimes you might take a sharp knife and cut the little slit open to help it sit on the stand without breaking it first. I live in a heavily when did area but when the wind is not so bad I use them.

We got these and had high hopes because we live in the deep south and love sitting outside, and mosquitoes are a problem. The ring broke right out of the box, even though I followed the directions to separate. Very fragile. Once it was lit, it has a smell of an incense stick.. Not bad at all. However, it didn't really work too well, either. Certainly didn't work on gnats or other flying bugs. It didn't have much effect on mosquitoes either, especially when it got dark. Unless they beef up the rings, not worth it.

Seems to work but the problem is the packaging n handling. The boxes came in dented n the coils broken into pcs. I ended up throwing the broken ones. Such a waste of money. Could not even post pics here. It says error try again so i typed my review 3 times n unable to upload pics. Frustration in 1 packager.
