We received this Mainstays Nonstick 7.6" square Cake Pan in consideration for a honest review. First a bit about the pan. It is very, very lightweight, nothing like we are use to. There are no markings on it that tell us what it is made of but I would have to say it is aluminum. There is Nonstick coating that covers the entire pan, inside and out which makes cleanup a breeze! Now onto the baking part. What would be a better test than baked mac and cheese we thought so we whipped up some from scratch and popped this little guy into the oven with the main dish of mac and cheese. We did spray the interior of this pan with some Great Value Canola Oil spray before hand just to make sure that nothing would stick because lets face it even though everyone claims nonstick it doesn't mean it won't. We kept a eye on this little guy since it is so lightweight and small and when the mac and cheese looked perfect we took it out and let it cool. We were surprised to find that the bottom wasn't a burnt on mess, but it was a beautiful golden brown just like the sides! This little guy was a breeze to clean up, no scrubbing and no soaking. Now to be honest we don't expect it to last forever but for the price you simply can't go wrong with this Mainstays pan. This gets our seal of approval! :)

This little pan is great for a dinner for two, or a small cake. I think two of these pans for a square double layer cake would be really cute and unique. I made a pineapple upside down cake in it and it was super easy to flip over and the cake came out perfectly. The pan is sturdy and has a nice finish. I love the unique size!

I have many baking pans, but not one this size. The Mainstays Nonstick 7.6 Square Cake Pan is exactly the right size for baking in my toaster oven. I do a lot of cooking on the go and since I only cook for myself I needed a smaller pan that would work for everything. The nonstick surface makes for easy clean up too! I made a meatloaf in the pan and it baked beautifully and slid right out of the pan when finished. This pan was exactly what I needed! Initially I thought I would only use it for brownies or for cakes, but I realized it has many other uses!

The Mainstays Non-stick square pan is a 7.8 inch x 7.8 inch x 1.8 inch baking pan. It comes in a set of 2 and is the perfect size for making a small batch of brownies. I also used it to make a breakfast bread pudding for my family, and it proved perfect for providing about 4 healthy sized servings. I like that the sides of this pan are completely straight. They create the perfect edge for your baked item. This is especially helpful if you are trying to create a clean line when cutting your brownies or if you are stacking cakes. In my experience when using this pan, my baked goods come out of the oven evenly cooked and nicely colored. The nonstick surface worked great and hopefully will continue to last over time. One tip for cake decorators is to use nonstick cooking spray first on the pan and then to use baking or parchment paper and then spray again on top of this surface if you want to really ensure easy removal and perfect edges on your cake. I am happy with this product and the price point is very good for the product that you receive.

a very great inexpensive pan made in the usa and pfoa free. i use it to do all my cooking in my gourmia 8 qt air fryer which i also bought from walmart for $59 rollback price. pan can also be used to capture all tge grease when air frying fatty items so less mess to clean up inside the air fryer tray.

What can you say about the Mainstays Nonstick 7.6 Square Cake Pan? It's just what you would expect. I needed a new square pan for my corn bread and the Mainstays Nonstick 7.6 Square Cake Pan was perfect. The cornbread cooked evenly and completely and the pan did not stick at all. Clean up was so easy not a bit of any cornbread left in the pan. I would highly recommend any Mainstay product but in particular this 7.6 Square Cake Pan. I give it two thumbs up.

I received this item free to write a review. When I received this pan I decided to make a cornbread casserole. Normally I make the casserole in a larger pan or glassware, but I decided to try out this one. I read the manufacturer suggestions/instruction which stated: Do not put this in the dishwasher, do not use any metal type utensils or brushes on this pan. Use cloth or plastic (items that won't scratch the non-stick surface). It also said to use hot soapy water to clean it and then dry it thoroughly. So anyway, I mixed all my ingredients and put it in the pan. I put it in my oven and then after a few checks I realized I probably shouldn't have made that casserole in such a deep pan. The middle wasn't done and I had to cook it for longer which ended up burning the cheese on top. Anyway, that was my mistake. After I took it out and let it cool a little I used a plastic fork serve some. NOTHING stuck to the pan even though there was burn cheese, etc. I've attached a picture of it. It's not pretty - because of my cooking skills, but it does show that nothing stuck to the pan after the casserole came out a little....crispy! Overall, great non stick pan!

This pan is definitely non sticking, however, you must lower your oven a few degrees or it will burn your brownies. I believe it is because of the dark coating. It’s also not you typical brownie pan size, it’s a lot smaller. It’s great if you like cake like brownies, if you like them gooey, I do not recommend using this pan. All other cooking with this pan, I highly recommend keeping the heat lower than the normal.

This is a fairly decent cake pan and looks fairly simple. The nonstick coating is nice to prevent cakes, brownies and other baked goods from sticking. However, the metal itself feels a little flimsy / thin (not as sturdy / solid as I've seen in other cake pans / tins). However, this is a decent square pan and is great for all your basic baking needs. Nothing really stands out, but nothing really detracts either except for my own desire for a sturdier feeling material / metal.

I received this thing all bent out of shape! Well my wife did I was working. I wish she’d saved a picture it was almost like they ran the thing over. Nevertheless, we gave it to out friend/neighbor. They said they would still be able To do something with it as we stand clueless wondering why it came so bent.
