I needed closet space. for the money I got four holders each holds 10 garments without crushing or wrinkling them. if you need closet space or to hang freshly iron laundry, this is the product you need.

These over-the-door clothing hangers are surprisingly sturdy and do the job for hanging clothes that are not fitting in the closet, or are soon going to be worn again.

They are inexpensive over the door hangers that replaced a very similar set that happened to be a little longer but got misplaced. My wife liked them more than expected so I searched for a replacement. I placed them where she used them before (laundry room)- and she was happy! I told her they were not the original set but she was content with them anyway.

These work very well on the cabinet doors in my laundry room to give me some extra places to hang up clothes to be air dried. They seem sturdy and can hold a good amount on each one. I air dry most of my shirts and all my sweaters on hangers (the type that don't cause shoulder bumps). I bought 2 sets, for a total of 8 pieces, so I have backups if any should break. They DO NOT FIT ON A REGULAR THICKNESS DOOR. They fit on thinner doors but not on regular thickness doors. The maximum door thickness they fit is 1.25”. I measured my laundry room door (which is the same thickness as all the doors in my house) and it is 1 ⅜” thick. As I already said, they work well on my laundry room cupboard doors which are solid oak and 3/4” thick. I don't put super heavy items on them because it could damage the cupboard door hinges if I overload them. They work great for my purposes.

The plastic hangers have no "give," so they won't even fit over any of my doors.
