Cultivator battery

Diana June 10, 2025

I ordered these items to replace what I had already. I ordered two batteries so that I had a spare. Convenient to charge one and when needed, the second would be charged as needed. Battery last for one garden season. Made more sense to order two batteries, one as a spare.

Last longer and are lighter than original

Richard April 16, 2026

While I can't speak to longevity since I've just had them for a month, I've really been pleased with the batteries. The reasons are: They actually last longer (6 amph vs the 2 and 4amph batteries which came with the original equipment. They really do last longer in real use. The replacement batteries are lighter than the 4amph original batteries. The battery charge level indicator is easier to read than the original batteries. They work flawlessly with the original chargers and the Greenworks equipment I have.

Slightly better value than OEM battery

anineted December 9, 2025

I purchased two of these at the same time as my Greenworks lawnmower 5 years ago. They were less than half the price of OEM batteries. I use them in the summer and in the winter with my Greenworks snowblower. They held a charge nearly as long as OEM batteries when new, but lost capacity after 4 years of use. The OEM battery still operated at ~25% capacity, now in its 5th year down to ~20%. They can be a bit difficult to remove from my machines -- the latches seem a tiny bit tighter than the OEM batteries -- but otherwise work OK. So .. IF They are still relatively the same low price ( less than half of OEM ), THEN Yes, I would buy again as they seem to be a modestly better value.

I was happy to get the 2 pack as it was cheaper than bying separately. However, after the initial first charge, 1 battery will not recharge at all. i have 2 separate chargers and both work perfectly fine with the other battery. The one will not charge.

Not the best

Bradley November 12, 2025

Were not green works batteries. Ran a shorter time mowing than the Greenworks 2.5 amp batteries. Will void the warranty on Greenworks tools but I 'm not sure how they would know. I charge my batteries in a shed so I wasn't worried about them starting on fire. I didn't return them, they gave me half off for the set of 2. In retrospect I should have probably returned them and bought a 5 amp Greenworks battery.

Greenworks dupe batteries

Brenda September 5, 2025

I used the new batteries yesterday for the first time. I was very disappointed in the life of the batteries.. I have a very small yard which I mow in about one hour. The charge on both batteries lasted about 30 minutes, which was about half my yard. Two of the brand name Greenworks batteries do my whole yard on one charge. I DO NOT recommend these batteries.

40 volt 6 ah batteries

Bulovagirl November 26, 2025

I bought these for my Greenworks leaf blower. i expected them to run longer than they did. I only got 10 to 15 minutes of run time. My Greenworks battery is a 2.5 ah and ran as long as these 6 ah batteries. i was expecting to get 30 minutes of run time.

These batteries do not hold a charge and I've tried to return them. Because they were third party market, Walmart will not take them. I did not realize that we ordering. I am out $71.00. How do you return something that came from Canada???????????

WASTE OF MONEY

Dennis April 20, 2026

Don't waste your money like i did. Got them yesterday in our mail, read the directions and put them on my charger. They both charged until full, mowed the yard today and neither of them ran over 15 minutes, (that may be pushing it). I'm VERY disappointed in tbis product.

Don't waste your money! I would give these zero stars if it would let me!!! Delivery %26 ordering was simple and on time. The problem lies in the batteries themselves. I took them out of their boxes, and charged them per the instructions. After installing them into the mower, it ran for less than 15 minutes before both batteries were completely dead. I might as well have just saved myself the money and used my old one's, because they at least ran for 20 minutes! With no transportation to get these sent back within the 30 days, I'm just out the nearly $70.00. I am 73 yrs old, living on a very limited income. That's a lot to lose, on top of the fact that I STILL have a non working mower. I realize it is not the seller's fault I couldn't get them sent back in time, but it IS their fault for selling products that don't work, and even NEED to be sent back! So it's zero stars for me. These batteries are useless.
