It's a trash can, works great! Noticed the same one on Amazon for a much higher price. We bought this b/c our dog kept opening the automatic trash we had previously… he still opens this one haha

It looks nice and clean. I use both sides for trash. I get free cheap trash bags. So, I primarily got these to avoid over filling and making them difficult to tie off. I use one side for food items and the other side for wrappers and things that won't smell. I really like the stainless steel and how the lid closes gently and isn't loud.

Much smaller than anticipated but I'll keep it because it's nice. I thought I ordered the 13 gallon can.

Beware of the third-party seller on Walmart.com. I purchased this expensive trashcan for my new apartment. It arrived with dents. I reached out to the third-party seller who continuously ignored my emails. I tried to take it back to Walmart and they would not refund me. Needless to say for the price, I wound up being stuck with a damaged item in my brand new kitchen. Fortunately it works, but I am not happy with the fact that a seller was trying to unload a damaged item on the first person that bought it. Beware of the third-party seller. Maybe my experience was a one time thing, but I doubt it.
