I have a very expensive vacuum and had no intention of getting another until I bought a high pile rug. My nice vacuum can't handle it at all. Got this one and not only is it fantastic for the high pile rug but now it's my only vacuum that I use because it's great on all of my floors. I had no idea my other vacuum did not have much suction.

I like some of the features, like its lite weight, however it plugs eas up easily under intended use. The sucktion is ok but the power of the motor is not enough to keep it from clogging. Frequently the connection the hose and catch tank is always plugging up and dirt does not flow into the catch. Would I buy it again well it depends on factors like rather there is a shedding pet or not.

This vacuum is excellent! We have 5 cats who shed quite a bit and this vacuum does a wonderful job of cleaning excess cat hair. It has wonderful suction and nice on board tool that actually work well! It's lightweight and easy to carry up and down the stairs. We highly recommend!

Well I have ten years of history-experience with the Bissell Vacuum ... in the past it performed as expected and then some. Plus I like the empty canister without bags. The weight and style of it is perfect for an older gal like myself. So looking for another ten years -- if I have that even in me. LOL

the last one i had lasted 4 years. it was a gift from my now late-friend. I just bought a replacement. it's great AND a pet vacuum. i have a cat ( up until 2 recently. sorry for the depressing review. ) . I vacuum on average around 3x a week, about 700 sq ft of my house ( obviously not counting vinyl or tile floors). I vacuum the sectional too. its not super heavy, but it's sturdy and dumping the canister is a breeze and i NEVER had to replace the filter. it's washable. I actually kept the filter and canister before throwing my old one away earlier to the curb ( it's trash night.) It's a great vacuum. You wont get better for under $70.

This is a powerful vacuum cleaner that won't break the bank! I just had to throw out the one that I just purchased at the end of December. Now a days, with the cost of repairs, time and driving to the repair shop, it wouldn't even be worth it to get it fixed! Not like it would be for a $600 Dyson. I am done with expensive vacuum cleaners! I needed something that would arrive almost immediately and Walmart , plus $4.99 got this to me in a couple of hours. This one does have an attachment tube to reach higher area's or baseboards. It has great suction to handle pet fur and vacuuming every day. Sometimes twice a day! Two things that I am really disappointed with are no headboard light and the very short cord! $80 bucks out the door and there's no excuse for this imo. However, I am pleased that this vacuum isn't as loud as the other one. It's an easy, one button touch to empty out debris straight into the garbage can. Oh, and there's no goofy innane plastic sticking out of the inside of the dust cup for pet fur to get stuck in! That's always a bonus for my hands! Anyways, I do recommend this vacuum especially, if you have pet's. I would get it on sale if you can, only because the cord is not long enough. I think this one will last awhile and I am pleased with how powerful it sucks up pet fur!

My old Bissell vacuum died after many years of reliable use. I wanted to stay with the Bissell brand and found this gem. It was priced right and had the features I like. The out of the box assembly couldn't have been simpler. It's lightweight and easy to manuever. It picks up even the smallest little bits of debris and lifts the nap of my rugs back up. Perfect.

Great vacuum especially for the price. You can replace it every year and still get your money out of it. I have two of them ,one for upstairs and downstairs. It’s lightweight but yet sturdy enough to keep up with using a couple times a week.. I used this model for nearly 7 years and I am very happy with it.

This was delivered in a walmart polyfil bag. I barley opened it and saw that the box had obviously been previously opened and taped back together. It came from a store location, so they basically just decided to send me a returned used item for the price of what should have been a new unused one. Very unhappy. I don't order online because I want to, I don't have transportation. The store took advantage of me by sending me a used item when they knew I'd have to go through a hassle to return it. Don't buy this from Walmart.

I've had this for a week and it stopped working. I live in an apartment. my living room is small, half carpet, half wood. I use broom on the woodfloor. Maybe I was just sent a defective product. I will be returning it, hopefully, I get send a better one or a refund. the suction isn’t working, the brush isn’t turning, the filter doesn’t look like anything is wrong with it and the canister empties easily.
