Love the flexible cage and water bottles it came with. The cage is plastic, so I'm waiting to see how long it lasts, but I love that the plastic doesn't scratch up the finish on my metal water bottles! I've replaced all my cages on my bikes with these.
My bike didn't come with a water bottle holder; this does the job and holds a good amount of water for a ~5 mile ride. I installed it by marking the holes and drilling them with a small metal bit, then using self-tapping/sheet metal screws to secure the cage.
Great product. Made in USA. Easy to install on road bike. Love these so much we bought 7 for 4 of our bikes for long bike rides.
Good quality water bottle, fits holder perfectly, great for kids. If somewhere warm I'd suggest getting some sort of insulation, or perhaps freeze ice in bottle in advance.
My bike did not have the frame to attach this type of bottle to. My fault but pay attention to how it attaches!
Not bad, i wish it came with fastners
Clip works great, bottle wears down fast
I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing. I would never have thought that it wouldn't come with something to actually attach it to the bike. If I read that I needed to drill holes in my bike I definitely would not have bought it, that is ridiculous. It's a shame that you even have to read reviews for purchasing a simple item like a water bottle holder for a bike. I didn't think I needed to be a sheet metal operator to use it.
Bottle was lost from the cage on first use. It was installed behind the seat. Cage needs to be firm to hold the bottle.
This bottle leaks and it doesn't matter how tight you get it. I made a gasket out of rubber and that solved the problem but if you don't want to go to the trouble of modifying it, it's basically worthless.
