My lasagna always came out a bit soupy unless I use uncooked pasta. I don't have time to bake anything that long. Oven Ready Lasagna Pasta saves the day, and dinner!! They go into the lasagna right out of the box and cook perfectly in an hour! And I haven't had to serve my family "Lasagna soup" since I discovered these!
You can't get lasagna noodles any easier to bake. As long as you add a little extra sauce on top of them, you're good to go without having to cook the noodles first. They always turn out perfect - not too mushy. And the price is reasonable.
I have bought Oven Ready Lasagna Pasta at other stores and almost every time, half of the pasta is broken or cracked. Great Value was not only the cheapest but almost all of the pasta was in one piece and worked well for my homemade Lasagna. I highly recommend buying them for your Lasagna needs - they are a great steal of the deal.
I love to make lasagna and I love that having to boil noodles anymore lol wish I started using these sooner so much easier cooked up really well my opinion is just add a little more extra sauce when making it cuz the noodles definitely soak it up to cook the rest of the way in the oven but they come out great every time and so much easier to work with
Perfectly yummy! I followed the recipe on the back of the package to make an absolutely delicious lasagna using ALL Great Value brand ingredients and I was not disappointed! This is my second time using Great Value Oven Ready Lasagna Pasta and both times it was a winner! Like I said, I used the recipe on the package except I cooked it for 65 minutes, tightly covered in foil. After the 65 minutes in the oven, I took it out, whilst keeping it tightly covered and allowed it to rest on the counter for about 45 minutes. This allows the noodles to completely cook, absorb the sauce and have everything comingle and set up. After the 45 minutes, the lasagna is still piping hot! It's perfect and ready to serve! I'll never use another brand. Making lasagna is no longer a difficult, messy project that I only do once a year. I plan to make lasagna at least once a month now! Love it!
This Great Value oven-ready lasagna pasta is great tasting, reasonably priced, great quantity/quality, and highly recommended if looking for a pasta you can trust.
I grew up on pasta. For me, it was cultural. Both my parents were both born in Italy. We had pasta 5 days a week. So, now in my adulthood, I still eat a lot of pasta. One of my favorites is lasagna! This product is oven ready! So, not only did I find a delicious pasta, but it's convenient to cook as well. This is a win-win. I love it! I'm sure you will too. This is a must try!
The price on these are great. They do the job. Don't put too much liquidy sauce directly next to noodles-use thick sauce as they don't hold up quite as stiff after baking. But I make huge lasagnas so required extending cook time %26 that could've been the issue. If a noodle connoisseur then pay more for the more expensive brand. I'm more about the cheese. Great buy, convenient, %26 100% did its job.
I've now made this according to the recipe on the box twice. Both times the lasagna comes out soupy with uncooked noodles. Where the flavor is ok, the recipe should say baking time is 60-75 minutes (if not more). 45 to 50 minutes will not produce an adequate outcome.
I buy a lot of great value products and typically they are as good as the named brand. This pasta is supposed to be oven ready so to save money I tried it instead of Barilla which is what I normally use. Made the lasagna like I always do. It baked for an hour and the noodles were still hard. Im not sure if it is just me but oven ready means I don’t need to boil them. I don’t know what happened but I will not be using these again and will go back to Barilla oven ready noodles.
