The only thing that the description of this product did not specify exactly is the size of room that it cools reasonably. At least I didn't see it. My AC went down and I had to have something and price was a very integral part of my decision making. I didn't need something too big and the two rooms that I am trying to cool are fairly small. But, the AC that I did have didn't have any info on it and I couldn't research it - it was that old and worn out. So, I took a chance. This one cools and it kind of keeps the 2nd room cool, sort of. It cycles like it should and the air coming out is cold. I would just mention to Walmart that 12,000 btu's does okay for 1 small room, but 2 small rooms would be pushing the point. This is for anyone who needs to know this before purchasing.

I'm blown away by the performance of my Commercial Cool air conditioner during this brutal triple-digit heat wave in California! Despite the scorching temperatures outside, this unit has consistently kept my home at a comfortable 72 degrees. I've been amazed by its ability to cool a much larger space than advertised without breaking a sweat. In fact, if I set it to 62, my family would be bundling up under blankets! I can't thank Commercial Cool enough for saving us from the summer heat. This product has truly delivered! the day of this posting was 106 so i had it to 69 it was so comfortable in my house!

Great ac but noisy at full capacity. The problem I had was the shipping. The box and styrofoam were broken and was obviously abused in handling. When I opened it I noticed that the front grille had 1 broken slat. Not enough for me to return it but it was annoying. Otherwise it is a good product.

I was very surprised that even with the remote and in 2025 this unit did not have a thermostat where it will adjust to the room temperature and give you an accurate temperature of the room this one does not do that

My son installed the air conditioner, so I have no idea of the difficulty. I t seems to work well %26 is not too noisy. The price %26 the size were right. Itis in a window that makes it possible to cool the whole first floor.

Black %26 Deckers 8,000 BTU does excellent job of cooling my bedroom but louder than previous 5,000 BTU air conditioner. Remote makes life easier too!

I am very disappointed in the cooling of this air conditioner. I bought it to replace a 12000 BTU air conditioner, that a power surge took out, and this one has no where near the cooling power my other one had.

I received it on July 7th, and it worked beautifully until August 8th, when it started blowing lukewarm air only. I'd hoped to have the item replaced thinking that my particular unit might just be defective somehow, but this website says it's no longer eligible. So after barely one month it doesn't work properly AND I'm out $350! I'm NOT impressed!

returned next day. made an awful sqreeching noise when shutting down. It is also not user friendly when it comes to adjusting temperature in certain modes. It also, looks just like another off the wall brand that is out there ??
