Meatball is my youngest cat and he loves the gentle care dry food by 9 lives. Dory my oldest cat loves the food also. The food keeps them healthy.
my cat cannot eat just regular food and I was buying a very expensive brand until I was reading a review about someone's cat tolerating this nine lives my cat likes it is so much cheaper just makes the world a difference thanks for making it affordable.
My 3 cats did eat this cat food. They did not devour it but they finished the whole bag. Took a little longer but it was their first time eating it and they have a different favorite. I do think it helped my Siamese not throw up like she does on food with the red pieces
I recently switched over to this because I have rescue animals and it seems like anything that has the red dye in. It doesn't settle well with their tummies so I moved to this product. I'm not sure if it is helping but for about four dollars more I get 30 pounds because I buy two bags at once.
I have multiple cats and they love this cat food and so far it seems to help their stomachs with sensitivity issues so far. I would recommend this to people if they want to try a new flavor to get their cat to eat or if their is a stomach issue but at the same time every animal is different so this may or may not be for all cats
My adult cats were becoming finicky with their food so my Son picked this up to see if they would eat it, not only did they eat it but keep asking for more! Then my sister gave me a kitten and a bag of kitten food, he wouldn't the kitten food but devoured the 9-Lives, when I took him to the Vet I also told him what the kitten was eating and he told me he would be fine with the cat food , that it was gentle enough for his tender tummy. I was so glad now I didn't have to separate the cat's and they could all eat together. Oh yea my Daughter-in-law and my Brother's dogs both Love it too
The best for your cat digestive system and good flavor for them I guess they love it! I highly recommend it
Right now, I have 18 rescue cats. Some of them have sensitive stomachs. They either throw up food Or get diarrhea. I've found that if a cat is temperamental it's sometimes because of the food. When the food upsets them, they may be irritable. When I find a food that agrees with them they seem much happier, the food works well for probably half of the cats. I like that it doesn't have artificial color, which can be bad for animals just like it is for humans. The shape is also good because it's close to being rounded and doesn't have a lot of pieces that go flying when they chew it. it doesn't work for all of the cats. Having so many fur babies can be a little tricky.
Our cat stopped eating the 9Lives Gentle Care Dry Cat Food about halfway through the bag. We thought that perhaps the texture became too much or he just got tired of it. However, when we put it out for the community (lost, abandoned and feral) cats they wouldn't eat it - at all. We threw it in the grass thinking perhaps the birds would eat it...nope. This means it is most likely rancid and honestly this is a first from Purina. There is a Purina plant here in town so you would think that it would be fresh. Perhaps this bag stayed on the shelf too long but there's no way to know. If it doesn't get eaten it has zero value. We will not be purchasing again.
When opening the bag to dump into my container, a huge chunk of moldy nastiness came out with the food.
