Great Alternative
I was a little skeptical at first, but I went for the purchase. Never heard of the brand. It is a great alternative on a day where you don't feel like making a new pot of rice that day!

Nutritious
I like that this rice is cooked and bone broth and has a lot of extra protein. It’s tasty too, especially with black beans.

Not as good as expected
I found this to be extremely dry and not hot after the recommended cooking time. I had a hard time swallowing it. I ended up adding a tablespoon of water and a couple tablespoons of salsa. I just ate it at room temperature instead of trying to heat again. I purchased three packets and plan to donate two to the local food pantry.

First there were no directions for cooking properly. Second no directions for cooking do you ad water or just put it in a pot and let it burn. Third no directions for cooking thankfully I do know how to cook. And knew you can't just put rice in a pot and it'll simmer. Never again worst mess ever.

Would not buy again
Taste was ok. But was super dry. Wish I had added water to it. Was almost impossible to break apart in envelope. Even in bowl after cooking was still lumpy and unable to break apart

It's not the worst rice in the world, which is why I gave it three stars instead of one, but this doesn't have the same flavor profile of other Spanish yellow rice I've eaten. It's pretty overpoweringly salty. Not sure if it's the bone broth or the balance of seasonings.

big disappintment
had not much flavor, very disappointed as I tend to favor Walmart brands, but I guess ya can't win them all.Sorry I don't have much more to say, very disappointed!

MOLD!
i ordered this because i liked the ingredients and wanted to try something new. bought it on the 30th of march opened 7 days later expiration date says November 2025 and i open it, the whole package is coated in mold.
