[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product on a weekly basis right now since I'm trying to recover from a bad sprain. I have 3 other products by other companies, but this one works the best. At first glance it looks thin, lightweight, like it might not be good support honestly. I am here to tell you different. This brace is more supportive than either the lace up one I have or the neoprene. I would suggest it to anyone who has a sprain and is trying to recover back into normal life. I support it 150%!
Helps my ankles from hurting
Great ankle support. Great price . Glad I purchased them.
I love my Ace Ankle Brace. It is so much more comfortable and easier to use than a regular elastic bandage. It fits extremely well, with or without wearing socks. I especially enjoy that fact so I know whenever I need to use my Ace Ankle Brace I don't have to worry about wearing a specific type or pair of shoes in order to do so.
I use this ankle brace for "reinforcement". I had a previous injury and sometimes my ankle swells a little when I'm standing for a long while. This ankle support is very comfortable and helps keep the swelling down. I have washed it many times and it stays like new. I prefer ACE brand products and always look for them in the stores first. I keep an extra one in my luggage, too! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
These are fantastic - easy to wear yet support your ankle and feet when you need them most! I used 2 of them at once - I sprained both my ankles 3 weeks apart - without them - I would not have been able to walk at all! Thank you for the wonderful products! my daughter started complaining that her ankle was hurting her every day in gym class and she asked me to write her a note to sit out. At first, knowing my unathletic daughter, I blew it off, but after a day or two of her continuing to complain, I went out to the local drug store and picked up an ACE ankle brace. Afterall, she seemed fine while she was at home...not limping or favoring it in any way. So...I made the very inexpensive purchase. It was quite well made too, I knew it would last as long as I needed it to. The size fittings were pretty much dead on, so it was easy to choose which one to get as well. So, home I went, to explain to her that I wanted her to wear it whenever at school, so that if they had gym or recess, it would help eliminate the pain. And... of course, if it still bothered her I would bring her to the doctor. Can I tell you?? After two days of HAVING to wear this thing... her ankle was ALL BETTER!!! Now, I'm not saying Ace works miracles... but... it sure did the trick in this house! Thanks Ace! Now my daughter can participate in gym class EVERY DAY! ;)
My podiatrist recommended this brace to complete the healing of my foot tendonitis. I purchased the size M (I weigh #113), however find it very tight on my lower leg. I can only tolerate wearing it for short periods of time. It's actually causing my calf to swell! Am going to purchase a size L to see if it is more comfortable.
I purchased one of these for my son who was recovering from a sprained ankle and was trying to get back into Taekwondo. But the problem is he wears a size 13 shoe and the biggest size I could find did not fit. When he finally wiggled is foot and ankle into it, it was way too tight. I had to take it back to the store and we went back to using self sticking wrap. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Too small.
