ACME Furniture Eclipse Twin over Full/Futon Metal Bunk Bed in Silver

we originally didn't want to get a metal bed so first we bought the cheapest wooden bed from walmart, got it up to our 3rd floor apartment, put it together and although the wood was nice we realized the kids could easily jump on it and probably break the wood slats and im only 5'3 and couldn't sit on the bed without ducking and hitting my head so after a month of being unhappy we took it apart back to walmart got a refund and ordered this one online for the same price just spent an extra 130 on a really great futon mattress, I had one like this when I was a kid and I remember doing all sorts of stuff and it never broke. it came in the store a few days early one huge box my poor boyfriend had to carry upstairs but when it was all put together I was so happy. the kids love it and even my 6'2 boyfriend can sit on it and not hit his head. its also great for making tents on the bottom bunk, the only thing that worries me is when a kid gets on the top it wobbles a bit but I think that's just what a metal bunk bed does, it still seems very safe.

Wanted something not on the high end to serve as a temporary bed for my son and a friend when he comes home from college. We have moved him out to the pool house which is a tighter space and this bed fit perfectly in a small place. While the diagrams weren't great on the instruction sheet, it was fairly easy to piece together and everything was there that we needed. Good buy for the money.

This bunk bed is nice! My husband and I don't like putting things together so we called a handy man to put it together. The handy man had to reschedule with us so my husband and I put it together with the help of our 13 year old son and our 10 year old son holding some things up for us. It was easy to do. I strongly recommend tightening the screws AFTER everything is put together. Those guard rails were a hassle when trying to get them lined up with the holes. Everything was well packed in the box and all of the screws needed were there. No extras so don't lose any. I am very happy with this purchase. The bed seems to be very sturdy. My 10 year old son loves it. Make sure you get a 6 inch mattress for the top bunk so there will be space for the guard rails to protect.

For what I needed this is perfect. Always have kids friends and team mates over to spend the night. This allows my 12 yr old to utilize his space best for the X-box sessions and also accommodate more than one friend at a time. This bed won't last more than a few years with our rowdy crew but for the price we are more than pleased. Walmart made it easier shipping it to our local store free of charge. I do recommend this product. My behemoth 16yr old son (6'2" 220lb) has had the same bed for 4 years now and had to get a good mattress otherwise you feel the cross members.

I bought this bed for my 12 year old daughter. It serves its purpose well for the price I paid. It was fairly easy to assemble with my daughter's help in a few places. My only complaint is despite tightening all the bolts/screws, the bed still has a slight wobble when my daughter is climbing the ladder or moving around on the top bunk. It's not horrible but I would be a lot happier if it had more sturdiness to it. The assembly instructions are by picture only with no written instruction aside from numbers on amount of parts needed. It takes a bit to get used to but I managed just fine after I read through all the steps. I did appreciate how well the parts were packaged, with each bolts, screw, etc. in it's own pouch with a number label. It made assembly much easier to accomplish. Overall, I am pleased with the bed and would recommend it for the price paid.

overall nice bed. Once the box was opened and construction was well underway, we notice a kink in the top of the bunk bed. I would recommend inspecting each piece very carefully before you begin construction. We chose delivery to the store and picked it up there. we did not notice any damage to the packaging.

Super easy to put together, the bed itself was not labeled tho, it will take some common sense to be able to get it together. Didn't take long for my husband at all. It's not very sturdy. He was able to get it as tight as it could go and the whole bed still shakes and makes quite a bit of noise which of course drives us insane and our daughter is nervous going up the ladder on the side because of this. It came with quite a few scratches as well. Not really sure how long it will last due to how shaky it is. I've noticed some complaints about it not coming with the futon mattress? No where in the listing does it state it does. I got online and ordered a memory foam full size futon mattress and it fits perfectly. Unfortunately I think the lack of sturdiness will result in us having to purchase another bed in a years time if it even makes it that long.

It would have been a nice addition to my sons room if it was not all busted up. I should have suspected from the box being in very poor shape that the contents would be in the same shape. I returned the bunk bed the same day and it took even longer to return it.

i never got the bunk bed, it was delivered to another city, to somewhere else in grand rapids mi and im very disappointed that i havent received my money either, there trying to keep my money and the bed and when i track the package it tells me, its in grand rapids

I was very disappointed in this purchase. Walmart would not direct ship without a fee, so we had to ship to store and pick it up. Customer service was rude wondered why we did not ship this to our house because it was awkward and heavy for them to move, well guess what not so easy for us at home with only two people either. Then when I started to unpack it, it was damaged. The paint was chipped on every single piece of the frame. I thought about trying to return it and thought about what a hassle that would be to try to tape the box back together seeing as we cut the top of it completely off, and hauling it back the 2 hour drive to the store not to mention the awkwardness of trying to get it back into the back of the truck to do all of this. So we bought a can of spray paint to try & touch up all the damage. Not a good experience at all!!!
