Acu Easy Read Wrls Therm

Finally, an indoor/outdoor thermometer that does nothing but tell the temp! The screen isn't filled with a bunch of useless information like date/time (I have more than enough clocks and calendars for that), moon phase (who cares?), humidity (occasionally useful, but easily looked up on Weather Channel), etc. And, best of all, I can actually read the temp from across the room. Score one for Acu-Rite!

I had this same unit for about 7 years. The battery in the outdoor unit corroded. I had not changed the outdoor battery but once. The indoor unit still works fine. Bought this new unit to replace my old one. This unit works great and is easy to read. I'll take better care of this one.

This was my third try to find an accurate wireless thermometer. Success! I was most interested in outdoor temperature readings and so far (after 3 weeks) it has been very accurate, with large easy to read numbers. It was simple to set up. I would give it an A .

I just wanted a simple temp gauge that reads remotely temps a distance from my house. It arrived on time and in good condition and began working the moment I added batteries. No programming required. I hung the sensor from a tree in the backyard and placed the readout on a bureau in the livingroom. Now I get clear readings of how low the temp got during the night and how high during the day. It remembers the temp data until the time of day I added the batteries, i.e. 1200 noon. Just what I was looking for and very happy I bought it. I can highly recommend this product.

Easy to read. Has a little rocker switch underneath the screen to change the reading from indoor to outdoor or back. I've hung the thermometer part just outside my back door. I've ordered a second one which I will hang inside my garage.

I use the remote sensor in my pottery studio. It's not good if clay, glazes , and ceramic work freeze. I can monitor the temperature from the house and turn on the heat in the studio as needed. Very convenient !

I recently purchased this thermometer to replace the type that hung on the outside of my window. I needed something that would work despite humidity or rain. This wireless thermometer is perfect and I love the indoor/outdoor feature. I live in a house that is raised because we are near the water. The unit is mounted in my kitchen and the sensor is placed of the first floor porch area, it works wonderfully. The temperature readings are very accurate both inside and out. This is a great thermometer, the price is inexpensive and the accuracy is excellent. I would definitely recommend this product.

Hung the Remote Sensor on the Water Pipes under my Crawlspace to see how COLD it actually gets there. Was Very Pleasantly surprised to learn that even when our Outside Temperature gets down to the Upper Teens and we have several consecutive days when our outside temperature does not get above Freezing, the area around our pipes under the crawlspace stays above 50-def F.

The set-up should be a no-brainer but even after putting new batteries in twice, the indoor temperature display was inaccurate. I will return it and look for another indoor/outdoor device.
