AcuRite Wireless Digital Rain Gauge with Self-Emptying Collector with Rainfall History, Alerts, and Current Date and Time (00899)

I've bought several of these for myself and family. Last one I purchased for myself was too many years ago, maybe 8 to 10 years? We purchased a weather station a few months back, and then my old rain gauge went wonky. We have several acres, so the weather station is on one side of the house, rain gauge on the other. This brand gauge assures me it's accurate, and holds up to anything from a shower to a torrential downpour. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to keep up with your rainfall.

I like this unit because I don't have to go outside to empty it. I will thiugh need to put a cover on it for the winter months to keep the moisture from freezing and damaging the unit. This unit is very accurate too. Thank you.

I have had no problem with this rain gauge. I ordered it and was notified, a few days earlier then was promised ,that it was available at the store. So far, am happy with it.

can set for 24 hrs daily or event which can be longer than 24 hrs. Also, self emptying.

Second one purchased. First one lasted over 10 years. Replacement the same features so no new learning of how to program.

Keeping track of rainfall when I am away is important. My old rain gauge was giving me questionable results and inconsistent. I received this new one quickly and was able to track the increasing rain from the northern California storm. First day of operation measured 3.48" of rain and made a check of the river. It h ad risen 1.5' overnight and all was OK.
