For my uses it was just right. One of the best things was it did not scratch my phone at all and it held my phone which was extremely heavy. I did not have to extend the legs so I can't give you any information about that but otherwise it is very sturdy when it's just compacted together because that's all I needed. I set it on a coffee table and use it as a cell phone security camera holder works great. Also it does not scratch what you set it on a real plus.

This is the best thing ever! I bought it because I like taking pictures and this can hold any phone and it's tall and it can be short enough to fit on a desk and take selfies. I like the remote it comes with because you can use it to take pics. Worth the price.

This tripod and wireless remote worked great for our family. We used it to take pictures for family Christmas cards. The remote works great and I was able to sync it easily to my Samsung Android. Makes it so much easier to pose. The mount was a little tight to place the phone in. Just pull up the little black flap.

This tripod is awesome, and the price can't be beat . its a very sturdy tripod, not flimsy at all. i highly recommend ordering this for yourself or as a gift.

I wanted aluminum legs with durable plastic fasteners. These were perfect for my needs but felt an added beneficial option would be to provide a center hook for stability weights. I'm happy with purchase.

The product seemed great, but wasn't quite tall enough, so wasn't able to use it much. Would recommend it though.

Opened the box to put together and it was missing a bolt. The instructions were poor; not clear and in very small type. The legs are flimsy....but it did work after we retrofitted a bolt to hold it together. The quality is in par for the price. Note: we used an iPhone 7 with a slim case. If the case was any thicker we would have had to remove the phone case. If you are willing to live with these limitations then I would recommend. Have not had a chance to call customer service since it was a Christmas gift we wanted to use right away. Had we not been able to retrofit the bolt it would have been useless for us.

the remote button did not hold a charge. It only worked when plugged into power. The tripod is not 71" tall, maybe only about 60" tall.

Absolutely junk. Disintegrated on first use.. Zero stars.
