My cats didn't have fleas. But they sure had ticks. Lots of them. Averaging about 6 a day. We live in a wooded area. My cats even had seresto collars on when they kept getting ticks. After using these collars along with Petarmour Plus. My cats are finally tick free. My cats didn't have fleas before these collars. The seresto collars actually worked for that. But if your having a tick problem. Id recommend these.

Adams Flea and Tick prevention works really well. Adjusting to the correct fit of animals neck size, use as in description, excess collar should be cut off and thrown away. Collar does not smell it's odorless and putting it on to cat is hassle free. Cats a free from dangerous fleas for many month as indicated on package. I trust Adams since many Years and recommend it to any pet lover who needs a piece of mind

this collar works almost as well as those expensive high-end collars and it begins to work within an hour of putting it on your cat I would recommend this caller to anybody who does not want to spend 70 or $80 on a flea collar

I would like the natural collars to come in breakaway for cats...cats climb on everything and have a high possibility of strangulation without breakaway collar, so i had to buy these.

This has hurt my cat! She has lost her hair under her neck. It has caused an infection all around where the collar was! Never would I recommend the use of this product!!! I have to call our vet first thing tomorrow because I just discovered what it was doing to our cat. She will need an emergency appointment due to the pus that was underneath the collar on her neck. Her neck looks as though it was burned! She's only had this on for a few days. It breaks my heart to see my little fur baby suffering due to this product! Please do not use this product on your animal. Adam's you should be ashamed to sell this product!! I will be submitting photos soon.

I bought these because despite being on a flea pill my cat still managed to get fleas. These did nothing except for give the fleas more protection. My male cat actually had a colony living underneath his flea collar. I will never buy their products again, I don't care how easy it was to put on.

Starting with the buckle: It's hard plastic and has wicked sharp corners that bow out so they even scratch me trying to fumble the darn things on/off. Next the effect: I have three cats aging 7 mo-3yrs old. They all scratch nonstop the second I put these on them. When I check the neck area and around their faces, I see multiple signs of new fleas. There are a number of reasons why someone could have the fleas issue; I have treated my cats and home regularly, both preventive and to wipe out a recent cycle that got in from my in/out one. These collars went on AFTER I treated the house and used both pill AND topical on all three. No reason for new fleas attaching %26 biting their necks with a brand new flea collar on -- unless it just stinks worse than it kills. The length of the collar is long enough for a pretty big cat, and can be adjusted/trimmed to fit smaller necks. Collar does not slide once secured to fit. So far they seem durable -- but definitely NOT COMFORTABLE. I'm going to try to file the corners to soften them...I'd like to keep them on longer for at least some effect (?!) -- but those sharp buckle corners have to be fixed first so they stop irritating my cats' necks.

I thought this was a reasonable priced item to treat fleas for a bunch of cats i take care of, however, it is not effective. fleas crawled around it still.

Do not buy! I found a flea after I gave my cat a flea bath. After the bath I put this on and a couple weeks later I found a flea in her fur. This collar is not effective as a preventative.

Pros: Fit well, easy to use, low smell. Cons: One cat tolerated well, the other lost half his fur. Use at your own risk. Ultimately, I do not think it worked well for fleas. If you would like to dehair your cat, that is another story.
