It Looked like it was going to take some time. IF you follow the directions and look at the diagrams it was not that bad. If a 80 year old can do it you can too!

The price was good and overall it was a good purchase, however the “open” and “close” arm ishas 2 issues. %231 its somewhat flimsy, %232 its to short to reach from towing device. This causes you to stop and get off the mower, to adjust or close the drop slot. When you stop the fertilizer continues to fall out which can cause burning of grass form over losd.

once you open the slide tray, granules start pouring out. so you end up with a pile of granules on the ground before you can start moving to spread them.

At first, I looked at the box and thought that it was opened before. After I opened the box and inspected the parts, now I know that it was opened beforehand. In fact, it seems like it was a return and Walmart resold it as new. Parts were mismatched and paint was scratched and peeled off like it was already been assembled and taken apart. Not real happy that I thought I was getting a decent deal but it was just a hand me down.

Piece of crap. Used 1 time and the gears were messed up. Sent a message to customer service and no response. Complete waste of money … the product is trash!!!

the controller and cable are not made proper materials. the plastic flow control broke immediately after installing and testing.

Some bolts are hard to get tool in there. Get together. The part to open/close doesn't hook in, it slides so doesn't work. The spinner doesn't spin?

Quality was poor with missing pieces. I had to rebuild it, to get it to work! Would NEVER recommend anyone to buy this item!!! 😡😡😡

Pitiful quality for the price. Very cheap materials. After carefully assembling the spreader the adjustment handle and cable broke during first use. First day. So not a pleasant experience.

The control to allow flow does not work well at all. There should be an agitator in the dispenser not just a cotter pin. it does not hold the desired rate of spread, gets clogged up easy then 40lbs of chemicals pours out in 60 seconds.
