Great laptop!

Paul February 11, 2026

I bought this for my son to replace his ageing desktop computer. He loves it and hasn't found a game he can't play. The screen is great and the laptop itself is very well made. The RAM included is not enough and additional sticks had to be purchased. I am going to buy one for myself!

Decent Gaming Laptop

Jay November 20, 2025

I am a very light gamer and was looking for a budget friendly laptop that can handle the games i enjoy playing. Got this laptop while on sale and feel like a paid a fair price for it. So far i am enjoying this laptop and has not faced any major deal breakers. For the first two days i was having issues with it freezing and restarting until i learned how to update the drivers through the DELL support feature. The battery life is also terrible. It charges fast but dies just as fast.. which sucks! Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

Faulty battery

David January 31, 2026

The battery is not working. I charged the new computer for 5 hours before unplugging it and it wouldn't work until I connected to power. I'm returning it for that issue.

Overall I do like the product. I think it's a good laptop for the price. I specifically wanted a 1TB hard drive. The Dell website had a similar model, with half the hard drive space. Upgrading to 1TB on the Dell website brought the price up by almost $*********. I listed Overall Satisfaction as 3 because there is a software bug during set up. I don't have a Microsoft account. If you connect to wifi the system tries to force you to create one. In the creation process there is a step with a captcha and once you verify you're a person you can't proceed any further. The only way I could proceed was to unplug my router, tricking the computer into thinking I don't have wifi, and then creating a local account and bypassing the Microsoft account. This is not Walmart's fault or Dell's fault. This is a bug in Microsoft 11's initial setup. It was quite frustrating, but the computer is still good. I marked quality as 4 because I've only had it a week and just don't know yet.

Beware poor software issues.

Kendal November 27, 2025

The short version, a great computer at a great price, but falls short with the Intel chip set. The long version, after getting this computer for $800 on a Black Friday sale I was excited at the prospect of having a good performance laptop with great specs at a good price. The 2k screen looks awesome, I have no complaints about the refresh rate as some other people do, since 120 is more than sufficient for a laptop at this resolution. I like the size and aspect ratio, the keyboard is very nice, and the construction with the bump on the bottom to allow better air flow even when placed on a flat surface is extremely smart. Setup was easy however issues began when downloading games from steam as the CPU was throttling down to below 1 gigahertz and could not decrypt an unpacked files fast enough, resulting in downloads that took nearly three times longer than they should have. I found that adding a high performance power plan manually with the power CFG commands through command prompt would eliminate this issue, however this kept the CPU at a high clock around 5 GHz all the time, and had to be readded after a reboot. This obviously caused an issue with battery life. I was determined to make it work though so I reached out to Dell to attempt to troubleshoot the issue. After nearly 3 hours of troubleshooting they had no permanent fix and just recommended that I continue my work around that would disappear after every restart. I had attempted a complete reinstall of windows including the latest BIOS update with all latest drivers from Dell site, performance tweaks in the BIOS and alienware command center, along with a list way too long to leave on the review here. All in all the RTX 5050 performed extremely well in games but the Intel nightmare of software ruined the experience for me. I ended up returning this laptop after a week and getting an equivalent spec laptop with an AMD chip set instead, and did not have this issue. Buyers beware purchasing this generation Core Ultra mobile series.

I bought it the first time, automatically went in to a boot loop. Thought it was just my luck but I took it back and order a replacement and when the replacement came it did exactly the same, the botloop and froze once it came on eventually

Never received this product, Walmart hasn't helped either. I've received empty boxes. Never expected Walmart to scam customers.

Bat5ery life is almost non existent. Not anything special about this laptop and the Webcam is so awful you'd have to buy your own external cam. Nothing about this buy makes me feel good

Alfonso November 2, 2025

I bought two of this laptop form Walmart.com on September 26 few days later in their system appeared delivered. but that never happed literally I have paid for nothing. I reported the case with them and after several calls they just answer the next message: After reviewing your request, we won't be able to issue a refund for this order. For more questions?
