Allway Paint Poncho Wet Paintbrush Protectors, 5-Pack

I had never used this product before, but they really did work. Instead of having to clean up my brushes and rollers every day I just slipped these on and it worked perfectly. I was able to start back up painting the next day.

These are a great way to protect your paint brush from drying out when you are called away in the middle of your painting project, or even when you don't get back to your project for a day or so.

I seen these paint brush ponchos on line and thought I would give them a try. So glad I did. When I needed to take a break from painting for lunch or for the day I was able to store my brush without having to go clean them. The brushes stayed just how I put them in the poncho. I liked how the poncho has a drawstring to close them.

These roller and brush bags are great for temporary storage overnight or a couple days for an in process project. In the past I've used quart and gallon storage bags, which work also. I probably wouldn't use them if I had a large project with a ton of brushes and rollers as it would be pricey. But for a small job they're great!

This is just something so ideal. I wish I would have come up with this genius idea. It's a simple plastic cover that goes over your paint brush and keeps it ready until the next use. So simple to use as you keep the brush moist and slide the brush in and it's like a plastic cover for your brush with a cord and a lock to hook everything closed. Very cool product and I don't have to keep washing my brushes every day. Makes the job go very smoothly...

I use to use plastic bags to keep my brushes that I needed to use the next day or so in, but with that they always got the handles wet and dried out some. These Allway paint brush ponchos are just what I needed to keep my brushes wet. They have a drawstring to keep it secure around the brush which I love as well as the fact if I need to wait a few days to start painting again my brushes are still wet. Its an extra bonus that they can easily reused. I am also able to use for 3 inch rollers too.

These Paint Ponchos are made of a thicker than we expected vinyl, actually about as thick as an inexpensive shower curtain. They have a drawstring with a cord lock on each and every one. They are of adequate size for what looks like a 4 or 5 inch brush. A brush we left in the poncho overnight was just as wet as when we put it in when removed in the next morning. With a little care and planning they can be rinsed out and used several times. I see they also make a model for rollers which I see going into my painting supplies for my next painting project.

These worked well to keep the paint wet, but I couldn't get the bags to seal well. Every time I left a brush and came back to it hours later, it would be completely inflated like a balloon. It's fine if you're just leaving a brush for a few hour or overnight, but I'm not sure they'd be much use if you're leaving them for longer. Some tape around the top might fix that if you need to.
