I had never used this product before, but they really did work. Instead of having to clean up my brushes and rollers every day I just slipped these on and it worked perfectly. I was able to start back up painting the next day.

These paint poncho's are a brilliant idea. I am always putting my paint brushes in bags and trying to close it tight so no air gets in while I take breaks waiting for the walls to dry. These are the perfect solution. They have a draw string to give you a nice seal after letting out the air inside the pouch. The poncho's are a nice size of 6 ½ x 7 ½ to allow you to use with large paint brushes. It states on the package that it is good for brushes up to 4 inch width. The package comes with 5 poncho's but these are also reusable so you don't have to use a new pouch for every break. You can also rinse them out and air dry to use for other days and other projects. Perfect solution for ending the tedious, unwanted continuous tasks of cleaning brushes.

These brush covers do what the claim. Having a project that extended between weekends it was great not having to try to rinse out the paint. So keeping the brushes "wet" with paint allowed for a flawless completion to our project. Very handy to have in your workshop for those projects that need multiple paint layers. No wasting paint by rinsing brush between steps.

The Paint Poncho is a neat help when doing a paint project. These protectors keep paintbrushes soft and ready to use after a break in painting. Just place the wet with paint brush in the bag, push the air out, and wrap the handy cord tightly around the handle. The bag has a lock to keep it tight. When ready to resume painting the paint brush will be good to go. It is particularly helpful when temperatures are a little high or when a breeze is blowing causing a stiff brush after even a small break. I previously have used plastic wrap and plastic bags without near the success. These Allway Paint Ponchos are great.

These Paint Ponchos are Wet Paint Brush Covers. They are by Allway. They fit up to 4” brushes. They are also reusable and they work with wood stain. I used them after I painted some trim in my house. Instead of having to wash off my brushes, I put them in these ponchos. Works great! I love them! Comes in very handy! I will definitely use these anytime I paint from now on! I received the Allway Paint Poncho Wet Paint Brush Covers. The idea for this product has been around for a long time. Finally, it is a product that can be purchased. When working on a paint project, one may need to take several breaks, for various reasons, before it is complete. These bags will keep your brush wet and ready to pick up where you left off. No need to clean your brush for breaks. Just insert the wet brush into the bag, press the air out, tighten the lock, and wrap the cord around the handle. Brushes can be left in this bag for up to a week. They type of paint being used must be water based or acrylic. Wood stain can also be used. The bags are in the shape of a trapezoid. The width at widest is 7 1/2 inches. The length is 6 13/16 inches. It can fit up to a 4 inch brush. Five bags are included in a package. It is a little strange that they are called ponchos. Ponchos usually keep water or moisture out. With these, they keep moisture in.

These worked well to keep the paint wet, but I couldn't get the bags to seal well. Every time I left a brush and came back to it hours later, it would be completely inflated like a balloon. It's fine if you're just leaving a brush for a few hour or overnight, but I'm not sure they'd be much use if you're leaving them for longer. Some tape around the top might fix that if you need to.

In reviewing this simply as a product it would certainly work as expected. The covers accomodante brushes up to 4”. In my opinion I just don't see the reason for using this product. My husband and I have probably painted hundreds of surfaces over many years. Brushes have needed to be covered from day to day and we've always used plastic grocery bags or plastic wrap. I can't imagine making a trip to specifically purchase paint brush covers when I'm in the middle of a painting job. Especially, at the end of a long day when brushes need to be covered and ready for use the next day.
