Allway Paint Poncho Wet Paintbrush Protectors, 5-Pack

I had never used this product before, but they really did work. Instead of having to clean up my brushes and rollers every day I just slipped these on and it worked perfectly. I was able to start back up painting the next day.

These are a great way to protect your paint brush from drying out when you are called away in the middle of your painting project, or even when you don't get back to your project for a day or so.

I use to use plastic bags to keep my brushes that I needed to use the next day or so in, but with that they always got the handles wet and dried out some. These Allway paint brush ponchos are just what I needed to keep my brushes wet. They have a drawstring to keep it secure around the brush which I love as well as the fact if I need to wait a few days to start painting again my brushes are still wet. Its an extra bonus that they can easily reused. I am also able to use for 3 inch rollers too.

I bought one for the roller and one for this brush these things are truly amazing they keep everything nice and moist so you don't have any dry out whatsoever ready for the next day or if you need to wait 2 or more days later they're still good to go . Great time savers

I wish I had known about these years ago!!! I have forever used grocery bags to try to save my paint brushes and they dry out. Not with these!! They have adjustable elastic in the poncho that prevents air from entering and drying your brush out. They're re-usable as well!! This is going to make all my paint projects so much better! I would definitely recommend!

These paint poncho's work really good! They have a locking drawstring to help keep them closed so even if they get moved around you don't have to worry about them just falling out. They are easy to clean up so you can re-use them again if you want to. I highly recommend these poncho's.

What a great idea these are! I've been using baggies and rubber bands or pieces of plastic wrap for decades, or aluminum foil for oil based paints. These are so much easier and less messy since everything including the closure are attached, no searching for rubber bands or twist ties or pieces of wire. Found that putting one on after cleaning a brush for longer-term storage works well to help prevent the need to comb the brush. These are a fantastic item and wish I would've found out about them sooner!

These paint poncho's are a brilliant idea. I am always putting my paint brushes in bags and trying to close it tight so no air gets in while I take breaks waiting for the walls to dry. These are the perfect solution. They have a draw string to give you a nice seal after letting out the air inside the pouch. The poncho's are a nice size of 6 ½ x 7 ½ to allow you to use with large paint brushes. It states on the package that it is good for brushes up to 4 inch width. The package comes with 5 poncho's but these are also reusable so you don't have to use a new pouch for every break. You can also rinse them out and air dry to use for other days and other projects. Perfect solution for ending the tedious, unwanted continuous tasks of cleaning brushes.

In reviewing this simply as a product it would certainly work as expected. The covers accomodante brushes up to 4”. In my opinion I just don't see the reason for using this product. My husband and I have probably painted hundreds of surfaces over many years. Brushes have needed to be covered from day to day and we've always used plastic grocery bags or plastic wrap. I can't imagine making a trip to specifically purchase paint brush covers when I'm in the middle of a painting job. Especially, at the end of a long day when brushes need to be covered and ready for use the next day.
