A co worker from Hawaii told my husband about Aloha soy sauce saying it was the only kind they used in Hawaii. He said it was way above the normal Kikoman soy sauce mostly used on the mainland. So we purchased it %26 he was definitely right. We wouldn’t use any other kind now.
Everyone seems to rave about this soy sauce so I thought I'd give it a go. I don't really like soy, but I need it for my potsticker dipping sauce. I've tried several Chinese and Thai soy sauces, even a couple mushroom ones , I never really liked any of them. This stuff is amazing, but the price sure wasn't. The seller cornholed me for 15.99 for this little bottle of soy sauce. It normally goes for a third that price in the stores.
A Hawaiian favorite, this shoyu is saltier to me than other brands. A little goes a long way! it's yummy in a dipping sauce recipe and for marinating ramen eggs.
I often cook Korean , Hawaiian and Filipino dishes. Aloha brand easily allows me to adapt to these dishes without sacrificing flavor and yet remaining true to the desired outcome!
Aloha shoyu is a standard for locals and is best for cooking, topping on rice, or using it for sauces and marinades. It has a good flavor profile especially when you barbecue steak and chicken.
24 oz size bottle of shoyu is a great size if you are are using tablespoons and teaspoons for cooking. Shoyu becomes dark and loses its savory aroma after a while.
This is my favorite soy sauce for my hibachi cooking. It is just the right level of salt and makes your fried rice taste great. Just like in the Japanese restaurant
Aloha Soy Sauce is the beat tasti g soy sauce! it gas thw perfect amount of ingredients that blend together to make any meal the most flavorable. Its akso not too salty kije ither vrands!
This is the only shoyu that I buy. It literally tastes just as good as the original regular shoyu, but with less sodium. So it's the smarter choice to choose this one instead. It still adds great flavor to every dish!
Cheaper than buying from the market! Grab some chicken from Walmart freezer and soak with Aloha Shoyu, brow sugar and a little garlic salt. Grill over mesquite or Keawe for the BEST island meal at the beach!
