good value

Christine June 20, 2023

love the ease of these..i chop into smaller pieces and put in tires or anywhere water gathers..in the fountain, birdbath, dog bowl, I put them in a stainless steel tea ball so i can find them easy and they dont get tossed out by accident.

Seems to work

Ibell June 18, 2019

We live in the dessert and didn’t think mosquitoes would be an issue. I was surprised to be attacked my swarms of them when I was out in my garden one evening. That is when my attention was directed to a water cistern. It collects rain water and well overflow and that is what we were watching our garden with. Ugh. I was very glad I got this pack of mosquito bombs. I had to use them all at one time because it is a very large tank, about 9k gallons. The bombs felt firm and a bit oily. They left a grey stain in my hand that easily washed off. I sent my kid to climb us and throw the bombs in. When she noticed they didn’t smell, she took them and dropped them off. They immediately sank. They were dissolving so slowly we weren’t sure if they were working. A couple of days later, there were hardly any mosquitoes in our garden. Some were still around near the water. A couple of days after that. No mosquitoes in the area. I guess the bombs are working well. I hope it lasts a long time.

Really kills mosquitos!

SkyeDavis June 11, 2019

We have a 50 rain barrel in the backyard. Last year, a mosquito problem. This year after only 8 days since dropping a mosquito tablet from Amdro Quick Kill Mosquito Bombs Larvacide Treatment, no more larvae, no more mosquitos and no more nats! I water my plants with the barrel water and they are doing great! I recommend putting the extra tabs on a ziplock baggy to keep fresh for future use.

Amdro Quick Kill Mosquito Bombs 6pk

redheeler April 15, 2019

These Amdro Mosquito Bombs are to be used as a preventive measure, as they work by killing the larvae in the pupal stage before they develope into adult mosquitoes. That is why it is a good idea to use before the mosquito season is in full swing. Before they get out hand and grow into full size mosquitoes. I placed some in a low spot in my backyard where water seems to stand after a hard rain. Also, placed in rain gutter, planters and the birdbath. Also, can safely be used in areas that contain fish and plants. Definitely a no fuss treatment for controlling mosquitoes. Each bomb treats up to 1,500 gallons of standing water for 64 days. Active ingredient S-Methoprene 8.62%, not harmful to humans or domestic animals. I would suggest reading the instructions very carefully before use and wear rubber gloves when handling bombs, discard packaging in a safe manner, Thank you for the opportunity to review this amazing product, recommend highly, haven't seen one mosquito since using these.

safe and it works

jomax April 29, 2019

I was interested in this product because my backyard gets a lot of mosquitos at a certain time of the year. I wanted to prevent them from getting into the house and of course not be in the yard. I put a piece in the birdbath and in the rain spout. It was so much easier than running with the spray can when you saw one, or trying to swat one with something, because it did actually stop them from growing. I saw maybe 2 and then none at all. It kills them before they become mosquitos which is so much safer than sprays after the fact. The mixture of birds drinking from the bath are all fine with no drop off in amount coming. This is the best way I've found to take care of a nasty problem. No smell, not breathing or absorbing sprays, no mosquitos!

amazing

stef July 1, 2019

these Mosquito Bombs are AMAZING!!!! I am pregnant and mosquitoes were always outside our house. I am the type of person that always gets bitten by mosquitoes even if there's only one. So we tested out this product to see how good it was and it works great. I am absolutely amazed by the job it did clearing out mosquitoes from our outdoors.

Worth a try

LewisvilleCatLady May 6, 2019

I received the Amdro Quick Kill Mosquito Bombs Larvacide Treatment about a week ago. I put one of the tablets in my birdbath to try it. I have standing water in the birdbath quite frequently, especially in the spring and fall when it rains. Spring ad fall is when we receive most of our rain. So far, the tablet is working. The packaging says it is good for 1500 gallons of water, so it should be working for the whole season. I, like many people with property, have a large crop of mosquitoes each year. I am counting on these mosquito bombs to keep my outside living areas free of those nasty pests. I have pets and a pet door. The mosquitoes cling to the pet's fur and get in the house that way. While I am not allergic to mosquito bites, they are a nuisance and I do worry about the Zika virus and West Nile, both of which are known to occur in my are. I also have a rain barrel that collects rain water that I use to water my patio plants. It will be a pleasure to not have to worry about getting bitten up by mosquitoes every time I water my plants. I am looking forward to a mosquito free season. I would recommend the Amdro Quick Kill Mosquito Bombs Larvacide Treatment to my friends and family, and continue to use it in the coming years.

Amdro Quick Kill Mosquito Bombs Larvacide Treatment, 6 pack was what I needed to rid the mosquitos from our ditch that has standing water in it constantly. It has been in use only one day and they have diminished somewhat. It will progressively get better.
