I would say that the wheels are ify. All suitcase wheels are ify, for sure, but these ones are roller ball looking. not much stability. Overall, it's an alright suitcase. Might want a suitcase strap or 2 for peace of mind. It is light-weight, hard shell with two "toss" handles (that's what I'm calling them), and suits my needs. Theres enough space to plan a getaway for like 14 days if you know how to pack well, and bring a couple decent sized souvenirs back.
I liked that I'm a traveling teacher and I can throw my laptop, other electronics, folders, chargers, and anything else and it is very durable for walking on sidewalks and through schools.
This has survived 12 flights so far. Still looks like it did the day I purchased it except one wheel is starting to not roll well but it probably got damaged by the airline employees honestly.
Absolutely perfect. Light Weight, Wheels glide very smoothly. Very durable. A lot of space inside, has the expansion. Zippers worked flawless.
I have the whole collection of this brand and I love these suitcases! Highly recommend you snagging this.
We just returned from our first trip using this suitcase, and it held up fine. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that when I got it off the baggage trolley, there was a part of the zipper that had let go. I unzipped past the bad spot and it zipped right back up, so I don't thnk it's a permanent problem. I really had it stuffed full - more than I should have. I expect to be using it whenever we travel.
I have this luggage is other sizes and to complete my set I ordered the carry-on. However, the description reads “multi-level push button locking handle” that isn't the case with the one I received. There is only ONE height and it's pretty low! A little disappointed!
It's a decent bag for car trip trips, but they are not sturdy enough to be used for air travel. If you want to take it on a plane consider it a one-time use bag. I have already went though 6 of these bags now (all 3 sizes) hoping the first damage was a fluke since it seems like a fairly solid bag, but it is not. My most recent replacement bag went on it's first trip this week and now the handle is bent and won't go back into the suitcase (happened to 3 of the 6), a zipper pull is broken off (happened to 6 of 6), and one of the wheels is starting to stick (happened to 2 of 6). I took the larger one to Vegas last year and when if came off the plane the side handle and a wheel were ripped off. Guess I'm back in the market for another bag.
Like others have noted, the handle broke while lifting it to roll it after leaving TSA area. I had to struggle with the broken handle the rest of the trip. I thought about getting warranty work done until I read that I would need to pay to have it shipped for warranty review. Fortunately I still had my Wal-Mart receipt and it was at the 80 day point so Wal-Mart gave me a full refund. Thank you Wal-Mart! Looking at brands that are actually designed for the riggers of air travel. AT is certainly not in that category.
Dont expect the handle to pull out if your loading your suitcase. So nice but unless your carrying light you wont have issues
