Ames 2915712 30" Poly Leaf Rake

I am an arborist who owns a tree service and we have been using these for many years know. We order by the dozen. For the price they definitely serve there purpose. Each rake typically lasts about 3 months. They are usually replaced after rakes have been worn down to bend. Every now and then a rake might snap right below bottom of handle but I'm sure this had more to do with human error before manufacturing ( tree crews typically hard on tools.

I am still in shock over how big this rake is, much bigger than any rake I've seen in stores. It is well made with a thick rubber grip.

All of the rake touches the ground so gentle raking is effective and possible. Feels sturdy and has a wrapped handle for comfort.

Great rake, this is my second one and is very tuff.

This should be a five star rating, but I had to give it a four. Five star would be possible if only it could rake without my help. It is a very good rake, cuts rake time by @half the time with my smaller rake. I recommend highly.

It is light in weight and easy to rake with it. It was hard to find one without any small dents on the handle foam.

After reading the reviews about the rake not staying together, I decided to nail the wood handle to the plastic portion of the rake. It has stayed together but after a few uses, I've noticed that the grip cushion has started to slide off at the top of the handle. The cushion also has two small holes that I believe formed from the dents from the shipping.

Constantly comes apart, very poorly made. The rake isn't threaded on the end so it doesn't stay together.

Broke first hour rake came off handle
