I received this item free for testing purposes.i have a combination skin type mostly dry it actually depends on the season when it gets oily. I enjoyed using this product it’s about the same as other competitors. I enjoyed that it does not have an icky smell. It’s also not watery it has a great consistency and provides full coverage of hydration. My skin is super sensitive and it did not cause any irritations. I enjoyed the product no immediate need to purchase but when it arises I most definitely will.

I've been using Amlactin for over 20 years to manage my ichthyosis, it used to be a daily staple for me and a key product to prevent the build up of dead skin. The new formula is a significant downgrade, the lotion in thinner, almost like they cut it with water. I'm now starting to get dry skin building up that Amlactin used to prevent, and the only thing that's changed in my routine is the Amlactin formula. I talked to my dermatologist and we agreed I should stop using Amlactin and switch to Lac-Hydrin.
