Why the low ratings??? For $80, this things was better than the chainsaws you rent from Home Depot. Just to rent a Chainsaw from HD for 4 hours is $76! Just buy this one and own it. Cut down a 40ft tree in no time with this this chainsaw. Started right up and had zero issues. I will say the instructions are garbage, but it’s Simple enough to figure out without it. Just note that it’s a 20:1 mix for the first 20 hours of use, not 25:1.
For what you pay this chainsaw is well worth the price cuts with no issue easy to maintain and have no negative input on any of it because the only thing that would make this one not stand with the rest would be the look of plastic covers around it making it look cheap which I don’t judge on because quality of it is excellent
Easy to start and has plenty of power.
greatest thing for the money
It's excellent and I love the air filter!!
The manual is garbage. The pictures used to illustrate assembly are unreadable so you have to just figure everything out. It also says there is a locking mechanism for the throttle which doesn't exist. The choke knob doesn't seem to pull out as it should so I'll be keeping an eye on it. Overall assembly was quite straight forward with some common sense. It started up after a few pulls and restarts were quick too. It cut really well for just over $100 chainsaw.
For $100 it's ok for a basic 20" chainsaw. Starting has been a problem. Instruction manual la ks de ent pictures, graphs, photos. A suggestion would be to have a Start-up liquid nearby, for use.
I had high hopes for the Amobro Gas Chainsaw because of the positive reviews, but it’s been nothing but a complete disappointment. Right out of the box, this thing was a nightmare to start. Even after following the manual exactly—using the correct fuel mixture, —it takes dozens of pulls just to get it running, and even then, it dies after a few minutes. very hard to restart. Very hard to cut a few pieces wood. The next day? Forget it. It refuses to start at all, leaving me exhausted from yanking the pull cord endlessly. To make matters worse, the manual is completely wrong. It mentions a "side throttle lock button" that doesn’t even exist on the saw! And the choke knob won’t stay in place, making the already frustrating process even harder. The build quality feels cheap and flimsy, like it was slapped together with no real testing. For the price, I expected something reliable, but this thing is useless junk. Save yourself the headache and buy others instead. Total scam—I regret this purchase completely.
i used it 3x. the chain doesnt stay tight. and i tried to tighten it like it says on the directions.
I used this product for maybe 30minutes. Had to add fuel twice and chain oil once. At the 45 minute mark it shut off. I tried to restart and the pull cord came out and stayed. Very poor quality, cut one 3” limb. Would not buy for free.
