my son had a fever coma when he was 2 years old because the thermometer we had wasnt working *unresponsive shallow breathing very scary*i bought this one and 2 others so i could always be sure they were readong right. Ive had to replace the other 2 already but this one has been holding up to my now 3 almost 4 year old playing Dr and Vet and just being a rough little one. Ot is very accurate and it is very easy and FAST! he barely notices during the pouty to sock to be bothered moments! I recommend this to everyone including my mom and sis who'ce since bought their own!

When I bought this, I thought I was just buying an in-ear thermometer for my dog. I didn't realize that it has a cover to do the forehead reading and automatically sets the function based on whether the cover is off or on. It registers a digital display temperature in one second. It does not beep, which could be great for taking a temperature of a sleeping child. I'm more than impressed with the value and reliability of this probe. For adults, children, and pets.

This thermometer is great and greatly priced. The digital display is big and easy to read.

Works well . FYI the ear part is under large black piece of plastic that the thermometer is shipped with. Haven't used one like this b4. A challenge with my memory on how to measure temp. Workin on it!

Liked the look of the product. Seemed to be made well. Had some trouble figuring out how to use properly. Accuracy of temperature on the forehaed wasn't very good, although when used in the ear it worked great and was accurate each time.

The directions are written way too small and I'm not sure about the accuracy of the temperature. It seems to vary by a couple degrees.

This item was terrible. The batteries that came with it did not work. I put new batteries in and it turned on. It shows that you're taking the temperature but before the temperature shows up, it just shuts off completely.

This thing is very confusing to use even with the directions and it doesn't ever seem to wanna turn off and it doesn't even read normal temperature. I've wasted money on this when I should've just got a generic off the shelf one
