I had the Chico Capri stroller for 6 years and it was perfect...until my son closed the garage door on it! My 17-month old is squirmy and still needs a five point harness..hard to find in a small, light stroller. This stroller is perfect...less expensive than the Chico but definitely comparable in quality and functionality. It folds up easily and is lightweight. The storage for Mom's stuff is a bonus! My one and only complaint if I must call it that, is that the wheels are plastic. If they were rubber, or even had a rubber coating, it would have more traction. Not a huge issue since my son is 25 or so pounds, but without weight in the stroller, the wheels are a little unpredictable and slide rather than roll. All in all...a great value for the money. I'm certainly glad I made this purchase!
I bought this stroller for our summer vacation to Disney, as many of the previous reviewers. Though we haven't gone yet, we have broken the stroller in at a few malls and stores. My almost-3-year old loves it! He has plenty of room, is able to fall asleep in it, and seems to be comfortable even when I put on the harness seat belt. (No, he doesn't really need the seat belt, but it helps to keep him in one place. ;) ) My favorite part is the compartments for storage hanging on the handles! My husband put his wallet, his Note II, my iPhone, keys, and a few other pocketed items inside one part, plus a large fast food cup, my son's juice box, and a back up water bottle all fit with no problem! I give it two thumbs up!
Most umbrella strollers are short and not very sturdy. But this one is Great! Its just a wee bit bigger when folded up, but it still fit in the same spot in my trunk. Its stronger and had a roomier seat for my 3 yr old. The best part about this stroller is its Taller! Perfect for dad's and even my very tall cousin to push around. It has a super handy little caddy on top. it held my phone, wipes, camera, water bottle, and sippy! even has a small basket underneath. We bought it for a trip, but we are going to use it for everyday I so wish I found this stroller 2 years ago!!! So worth the price and then some!!
This stroller meets all my needs. My little one grew out of our umbrella stroller before he turned 1, so I really needed one that could grow with him. He is 10 months old, 25 lbs, and he has plenty of room. The handles are at an ideal level for me (5'7") and my husband (6'1"). The handle storage area isn't meant for anything big, but perfect for keys and cell phones. The basket storage is a little small for my liking, but I always overpack anytime we leave the house anyway... Would recommend to anyone with a baby to a toddler (my 36 lb, 2.5 y/o fits with room to spare).
I purchased this stroller for a friend as a shower gift, and I want to order one for myself! It is very well made, and a great value for the price!! My 2 1/2 year old, and 4 1/2 year old 'tried it out', and both loved the comfort of the seat! My son is 41" and about 38lbs, and he had plenty of room in it! The compartments are awesome, and so is the basket underneath. You won't be sorry if you purchase this stroller!!
We bought this stroller for our daughter to use during our Disney vacations. She is very tall for her age (48") and I think this will be very good for her. It's lightweight and I like that the handles are long so it's easy to push without needing to bend over.
I don't know what I like about this stroller better, the fact that I got it so fast at Wal Mart, or it is the easiest thing to use, and it takes no room in my truck, like our other stroller. The only thing negitive I can say is the storage on the bottom could be easier to put things in. But that is it. Otherwise so much better then out other one.
I bought a Chico for my oldest son a few years ago and decided to go cheaper this go around with the new baby it was about twice the price of this but i feel its the same quality. No complaints thus far its really light which i love compared to the travel system stroller i was using it weighed a ton and i walk and use the public transportation often and its great getting on and off the bus while carrying the stroller in one hand and the baby in the other. The handles are a little awkward for me but ill adjust.
If you're looking for a slight step above your basic umbrella stroller then you will want this one. I purchased this for a trip to Disney. Once it arrived I realized that the stroller doesn't really recline which I thought I had read that it does in the description. It was basically already reclined to the same degree as a basic umbrella stroller which I already have. Not sure that my 35lb 3yr old would have been comfortable in this for a week. I returned it and purchased the Jeep brand.
My 3 year outgrew his smaller umbrella stroller and I got tired of the size and weight of the travel system stroller and wanted something in between. I started doing some research for the lightweight strollers and I picked this one based on price and features. Pros: Has handy console for drinks, keys, cell phone, etc. I can fit a small purse or bag with a change of clothes/diapers/wipes in the small under basket. It folds up small like a typical umbrella stroller and is lightweight. Cons: The wheels and the feet strap are at the same level. I've had to tell my son not to put his feet on the wheels. The recline feature is minimal. The shade gets dirty with the wheels when folded up. I remove it and store it in the under basket before folding it up. This stroller has been a great transition from the travel system and so far is working out to suit our needs.
