Apple Magic Keyboard Folio for iPad 10th Gen, White

Like it. But brother in law has one that stand up hard case with keyboard included. And really want to get that one instead. But this one is nice too!

This purchase was a gift for my mother. I have an iPad with the Magic Keyboard and I use it daily, honestly more than I use my phone. Her Roku died and she was looking for a replacement, so she stopped at my house and I showed her our Apple TV and I used my iPad to control it while I gave her a demo. A couple of months before Christmas, she mentioned that she'd like to have one, so we purchased this for her on a Black Friday sale. It was a decent price as well. I love how Apple products work so well in their own ecosystem. We have a couple of Apple TVs, one in a small theater at our house and one in our room. We also have iphones, Apple Watches, iPads and I have a Mac Book pro for a DJ business we do on the side. Having the ability to cast to the TV, using the iPad to tune the JBL speakers during a gig, or just using it around the house to submit reviews on Walmart is great. Their products can be on the pricy side, depending on what features you want, but their quality is top notch and they're very user friendly.

Only thing I'd like to have different is easier to understand controls %26 a way to add it to AppleCare

Overall, I appreciate this keyboard and the ease of not having to charge it separately. I do wish this model of iPad would have also had the keyboard option that stayed open without being propped up, like past models.

Good quality overall but feels kinda flat under my palms. I've tried the Logitech combo touch for the same iPad and I liked it a lot better. Aside from being cheaper, it was more comfortable and the keys were a little more fluent to type on. However, the Magic Keyboard folio is much easier to take the iPad off since it's just a magnet. The Logitech is really hard to take the case off the iPad. Actually hurts your hands. So if you switch between keyboard and a Smart Folio or other regular non-keyboard case a lot, maybe go for the Apple keyboard. Overall I was surprised that I liked Logitech's option better since I usually like Apple's the best even if in the end, Logitech does a lot of the same stuff (and offers more angle adjustment) for much less money. Interestingly, both don't use Bluetooth so you can't use the keyboard while detached, a feature I never cared about until I bought a cheap third party one that did that. If you're an Apple fanatic who really wants Apple only cases, this isn't a bad one or anything. It has decent angle adjustment and is VERY easy to situate the iPad in and out of.

Torn on whether to like this or not. It works, and it works very well so there's that. But it is thick and heavy. It turns a sleek, light iPad into a brick. I have a Surface Pro which is a full featured computer and this makes the iPad thicker and heavier than that. The surface also has a magnet that keeps the keyboard steady and at a great typing angle. This keyboard flops all over the place. Even when closed, the cover/keyboard slides all over. It feels like they may have tried to make it magnetic, but failed. One of the biggest flaws at this price point is the lack of backlit keyboard… no excuse for that. Only reason I didn't buy a cheaper alternative off of A is because I needed it same day to travel with. Terrible product overall for an Apple product.

Only had this equipment for 3 days and have used it for 2 and it has continually detached from my iPad and now has fallen and shattered. No value for the money. Now I have to do a return and go through that whole bothersome process. I've never encountered a more inferior price of equipment in the Apple line up.

This is the worst item i have ever purchased from Apple. Grossly over-priced for what it is. The magnet is weak and the keyboard is constantly detaching from the screen. It is very heavy. It does not protect the edge and corners of the iPad at all. I returned this. Microsoft surface has done a much better job of creating a case with key pad and cover. Apple needs to pull this and start over. I would give zero stars if i could. Do not waste your time or money on this useless item.

My gift computer was left outside my garage door, when I specifically asked to put inside the white garage door. It is probably ruined since it was outside in below freezing temperatures. I am very disappointed. This Christmas gift was hundreds of dollars and it probably wont even work. What am I supposed to do?

The item appears to be ok. However the delivery service left it at the wrong address. I had to drive around and follow the map location to retrieve a $200 item!!!!! Had it not been a small town, I'm sure I wouldn't have gotten it back!!!! Took me 2 hours to get it back. For that reason I wouldn't order again from the company. house %23115 and %23321 which is my address are NOT THE SAME!!!!!
