Apple TV HD 32GB (2nd Generation)

I bought this HD 32GB 2nd Gen Apple TV to solve a problem I was experiencing with my newly purchased TCL 4K Roku smart tv. The TV has Apple TV on the remote and the Apple App is pre-loaded on the Roku tv. BUT...it kept giving an error message. No amount of YouTube fixes or tv reseting could make it work. SO...I saw this device on sale and decided to try it. It arrived perfectly packaged, brand new, with remote control and power cord included. I had to buy the HTML cord separately and you WILL need that to attach to your smart TV. Buy it when you order this device and you'll be set. Anyhoo...I plugged it in, attached it via the html cord to my html 1 output on the tv and it immediately started up. It took me through all the hoops apple makes you jump through upon set up, but in the end guess what? IT WORKED! WOOHOO! I was concerned it might not for two reasons. 1) My new ROKU TCL 4k smart tv seemed to have a vendetta against apple tv (even though it was build in!) and 2) my new tv is 4k and this unit is only HD 32GB 2nd Gen Apple TV. I read all the reviews to see if anyone had problems with these techs being incompatible but no one had mentioned it? So fingers were crossed. In the end, there was nothing to worry about. I can watch all my shows on Apple TV again! Now, if you are a gamer or use the unit in some more demanding fashion I can not vouch for its responsiveness on a 4k tv. I just need my Morning Show and Ted Lasso fix. But for those fighting the frustrating fight with a smart tv that won't load Apple TV...this seems to be a real fix. I got it on Black Friday sale for about $60. But I'd pay the $100 or whatever it is to get this unit. My stress levels are down and my home entertainment is back up! It's a nice unit.

I have several of these Apple TV's - basically every TV has one. Much stronger Wi-fi than your TV so if you do live in an area with weak or unreliable service, an Apple TV will help! Shout out to Walmart for making the process of ordering online so simple. Much, much better than Amazon. Got the product within 2 days of ordering it, with Amazon, would still be in transit or lost.

Little to no junk advertising like you get with Amazon Fire TV sticks. If you have an iPhone, iPad or Mac you can very easily share picture to the screen to show family and friends, or presentations for work etc. Device is fast and light feeling compared with a 2022 Fire Stick (the most expensive model at the time, quad-core cpu). Better than Roku, in my experience, as well, as there is no ads. Recommended.

Very useful upgrade from my Gen 2 Apple TV which had an older OS that is longer supported, and most importantly has no AppStore - many of the original apps it came with no longer work. The remote of this device is also much better than the older one which had fewer controls and needed to be pointed exactly at the Apple TV from a short distance in order to work.

Far easier to use than any other product. Also works seamlessly with iPhone as the remote. ANY iPhone is compatible with this product, and the User Interface is simple and intuitive. VERY PLEASED!!! You do NOT have to subscribe to Apple TV to use this product. I use Hulu, Disney , and many other services and the all work flawlessly with this Apple TV device.

Works as expected. Only has1 HDMI output, nothing dedicated for sound but does have Bluetooth. If you have older or smaller tv or projector you won't benefit get any higher resolution than 1080p anyway. I have one of these in every room where there's a tv.

I bought the item online and got immediate feedback stating what I must do when the item was ready for store pick-up. When the pick-up email arrived, I checked in online and went to the store. When I got there the attendant could not find the item and blamed me for not checking in before I came to get it. She was rather rude and accused me of not checking in. I showed her the paperwork, but nothing changed, especially her attitude. After a 10 minute search the item was located and handed to me without any additional conversation. Whatever happened to caring Customer Service? The item and price were wonderful, but the experience was not.

Technically it works no different that many other casting less expensive services (i.e. Roku, Google Cast/YouTube TV) The selections to watch are odd and limited... Absolutely of no interest. I bought this device in the hopes of casting my iPhone screen into a big TV; it doesn't work! I am returning this bloated, expensive device

On Walmart website return policy is 90 days, when I tried to return after 30 days Walmart refused to return it, it still in the box, barley used, I was busy with health issue I couldn't return it right away, I will never buy any electronic from Walmart ever again as I am stuck with it

Because after four days I don't have it You can track who I am when I call Why can't an electronics item be tracked? You should know where it is. Such a POOR tracking system Last online person said it could be three more days or that night! What? The he said three days again and said the 4th-9th for delivery…. That's five days… not three, he countered it was four. Really… I asked if there was a store I could drive to to pick it up. This was a Horrible experience!!
