Aqua Culture 10-Gallon Glass Aquarium Starter Kit

I bought this for my kids after they lost their beta fish of 3 years. My daughter took it pretty hard, so jumped online and ordered this tank despite the bad reviews. I am very happy with purchase. Tank is sealed very well and filter does a great job keeping it clean and putting oxygen bubbles into tank. The led lights are really nice. 4 feeder good fish and a pleco. We kept it simple. I strongly recommend this tank for the price point ya can't beat it. We named our fish. 7 yo Daughters - Rosie 10 to Sons - Trump Wife's - Goldie Hawn Mine - Mike Tyson and the pleco we named Cleetus (Cleetus the cleaner) LoL... LOL

Picked up in store, did not have shipped. So far, I have had zero issues with this tank. I have had it for about a month and have had no leaks. When I read the reviews, I was a bit anxious, so I bought some special sealant for aquariums just in case, but I havent had to use it. The aquarium is crystal clear and sturdy. The filter does a good job of keeping things clean, even after one water change and a filter cartridge replacement. I only have on Betta fish in the tank (aside from plants and decorations) and he is pretty happy. He likes to patroll around the sides of the tank and does not mind the filter at all. It’s definitely not too harsh for the tank and it is very very quiet. I wouldnt put more than one fish in here, as 10 gallons is a bit small. I’m hoping to move this guy up to a 20-30 gallon tank eventually and use this one as a hospital tank. The price is such a deal, too!! $30-ish dollars for a 10 gallon tank with a working filter and LED lights is amazing. I would definiely reccomend this tank. Quick side note: It does not come with a heater, gravel vacuum/cleaner, or water testing/treating supplies. You NEED to get a cleaner/vacuum and water testing/treating supplies for happy and healthy fish. A heater is also a must for tropical fish like Bettas. Fish tanks are not a one and done deal, you have to clean and maintain them.

I read the reviews before purchasing and I took the chance. The fish tank has been great so far, no leakage or cracks. It seems to be built well. The pump is a bit big but that can be replaced. The tank and the light are great. And the price was nice too.

I’m absolutely in love with this idem. I also purchased a 6.5 gallon tank from Walmart and was upset when I opened it and it was busted. But I was excited when I opened this tank. I love it, I love that it was surrounded in styrofoam to keep it from breaking and providing extra support. I haven’t moved my fish into it yet but if anything changes I’ll update my review. The leds was a pain to clip in but they look amazing when I got them clipped in and they’re supper bright

I will never buy an aquarium kit from anywhere else! I have 2 (10 and 20 gallon). Both arrived very quickly, with excellent package. Very sturdy with no leaks whatsoever. The lighting is nice and bright. The filters are super quiet (I only use the one for the 10 gallon since I have a bunch of equipment for older aquariums). You will have to buy a few things such as a heater/air pump/tubing. But you can get all that stuff cheap. I use Seachem products so I do not use the safe start or flakes provided. But I have used in the past as a beginner and the products are fine in my opinion. You begin to try more products as you gain more knowledge in the hobby. All in all, anyone looking to start a new aquarium. I always refer them to this kit :)

great tank for beginners BUT....after 6 months of having my tank it leaked out EVERYWHERE FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK. I plan to seal it and see if that fixes it but I can only imagine if I would have come home to an empty tank! thank god I was home when it leaked out. if you are to get this tank....I suggest sealing it up before adding anything to it for extra protection.

i did like that i did not even have it for a year and the lights on the hood done stops working and it links if you feel it to all most the top like I use to without links and here I am having to buy a new one already but this time not from Walmart. i think they should give me my money back.

This is my 3rd, time by this product from Walmart it is always leaking after few days when I bought it. The first one I bought was good I bought that in January and it gets leaked in May. After that, I returned and take the same thing 2 times but still leaking. I have no idea why it's get leaked from the bottom.

I used to have a few aquariums, but had to give the hobby up for awhile as life got in the way. I went to Walmart on 9/18/15 and bought this aquarium. I did not do my research, as I had previously owned a 5 gallon made by this same company and everything worked just fine with it. I set everything up and our Betta and Chinese Algae Eater were living happily. I woke up on 11/12/15 and half of the water had leaked out of the tank all over the shelf and floor. I no longer have the receipt or box to return it. After reading the reviews on this tank, I certainly don't want to exchange it and have the same issue again. Do not buy this! Go to a local pet store and spend a little bit more money for a nicer setup!

Loved this tank at first even though almost immediately I had to upgrade the filter, then after several months the seal broke and I woke up to the tank completely drained (on carpet that was JUST shampooed). Fortunately we have a second tank and I saved everything in it except the five fish my cats previously pulled from the top and dropped behind the dresser. Not a good pump, not good for keeping cats out, not a good seal. I had this less than 9 months. I have owned multiple tanks at one time my entire life (44), even bought some on Craigslist, never had a seal give out before. Timing is never good for this but its my sons birthday weekend, he has friends sleeping over, were having a party, and now we have his carpet pulled up to dry it out. The water kicked off the power breaker...suppose that could have been much worse had it not.
