Aqua Culture 10-Gallon Glass Aquarium Starter Kit

I got this tank for my betta and shrimp. It works really well and my aquatic pets seem happy! Silicone was a little messy, but it's a really good price for tank, filter, and lid/light. I have a little female veiltail betta ,named Venus :) , and the filter is a little strong, but definitely not a concerning amount of current from it. All I had left to purchase was a heater and color changing lights.

I will never buy an aquarium kit from anywhere else! I have 2 (10 and 20 gallon). Both arrived very quickly, with excellent package. Very sturdy with no leaks whatsoever. The lighting is nice and bright. The filters are super quiet (I only use the one for the 10 gallon since I have a bunch of equipment for older aquariums). You will have to buy a few things such as a heater/air pump/tubing. But you can get all that stuff cheap. I use Seachem products so I do not use the safe start or flakes provided. But I have used in the past as a beginner and the products are fine in my opinion. You begin to try more products as you gain more knowledge in the hobby. All in all, anyone looking to start a new aquarium. I always refer them to this kit :)

I love it, i set it up let it run a few days. Added the stuff that needed to be added then my glo fish. I did buy a larger filter I have no idea if the one that comes with it is sufficient I just wanted a bigger one and I will have the one that came with it if i need it. I bought the blue led lights because of my GLO fish. I added live plants lava rocks and substrate, i got the written looking barrel with holes in it for them to hide in and a bubble stone. I think it is awesome.

After mixed reviews about this aquarium, I decided to purchase the aquarium kit and it was a great decision. It does not leak as described by others. The included filter is very quiet and functions well. The LED lights are very bright. I currently have 8 tropical fish in this 20 gallon tank. Great product.

I bought this for my kids after they lost their beta fish of 3 years. My daughter took it pretty hard, so jumped online and ordered this tank despite the bad reviews. I am very happy with purchase. Tank is sealed very well and filter does a great job keeping it clean and putting oxygen bubbles into tank. The led lights are really nice. 4 feeder good fish and a pleco. We kept it simple. I strongly recommend this tank for the price point ya can't beat it. We named our fish. 7 yo Daughters - Rosie 10 to Sons - Trump Wife's - Goldie Hawn Mine - Mike Tyson and the pleco we named Cleetus (Cleetus the cleaner) LoL... LOL

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing about how the tank leaked. For me this was not the case. It does not leak one drop of water. I will admit I have seen better built and better quality tanks, HOWEVER this is a 30$ starter kit tank people! It won't be perfect. So far I like the tank and so do my fish. They upgraded from a 4 gallon tank and they are LOVING it.

i did like that i did not even have it for a year and the lights on the hood done stops working and it links if you feel it to all most the top like I use to without links and here I am having to buy a new one already but this time not from Walmart. i think they should give me my money back.

This is my 3rd, time by this product from Walmart it is always leaking after few days when I bought it. The first one I bought was good I bought that in January and it gets leaked in May. After that, I returned and take the same thing 2 times but still leaking. I have no idea why it's get leaked from the bottom.

I bought three of these from Walmart. Set them up and they almost immediately started leaking out the backside from the filtration units. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see the filter has no plastic backstop or TOP? I reached out to Charles @ Aqua Culture/ Tetra and they have yet to do anything but basically avoid and deflect the obvious design flaw issue. The kits are less then two weeks old and Charles told me the filter media needed to be changed?!?? They told me the would send replacement filters upon receiving receipts and pictures which I sent and then he immediately began to backpedal. Stay clear of these, though affordable and nice looking, you'll end up replacing the filter. Luckily Walmart was able to provide some help. The manufacture to this point ZERO.

Loved this tank at first even though almost immediately I had to upgrade the filter, then after several months the seal broke and I woke up to the tank completely drained (on carpet that was JUST shampooed). Fortunately we have a second tank and I saved everything in it except the five fish my cats previously pulled from the top and dropped behind the dresser. Not a good pump, not good for keeping cats out, not a good seal. I had this less than 9 months. I have owned multiple tanks at one time my entire life (44), even bought some on Craigslist, never had a seal give out before. Timing is never good for this but its my sons birthday weekend, he has friends sleeping over, were having a party, and now we have his carpet pulled up to dry it out. The water kicked off the power breaker...suppose that could have been much worse had it not.
