This is really a great betta aquarium. They are flourishing in this set up. Suggest that you buy a small feeding ring that you can put in each tank that allows the pellets / food to stay in that tank while they eat.
I love it!! I Was hesitant to buy based on reviews, but I'm so glad I got it anyway. It is quiet, and the flow does not seem to be too much. Setup was so easy. If they made one that curved the opposite direction, I would buy that in a heartbeat!
so clearly some of the people who bought this did not pay any attention to the instructions. The pump should be turned to the lowest level, and there should be plants in each tank to help break up the water flow. Each tank comes with a lid, which helps with the filtering from one tank to the next, and if they are on the tank then there's no way officials going to flow from one tank to the other, because it just leaves enough room for the water to flow from one tank to the next. I absolutely love mine, and I'm thinking about purchasing at least one more. They are a great addition fo keeping bettas at home. and I can't believe that someone gave it a one-star, asking a question instead of actually having a comment about one that they had purchased. Yes each one has a lid to it and know your cat won't be able to get into it.
It's a great attractive product, only 1 con I'm aware of and that's the current. It's too strong even on the lowest setting. But if you get a plant in front of each water fall it will break it up a little bit.
It's a pretty decent product. As saying the description of cascading waterfalls I'm in yes the water does filter but it's Ever so gently I would have thought there would have been a better pumping system. Still given the product props like Big UPS. My fish are happy.
It's a nice separate tank if you have many bettas but the flow is to much specially for the middle tank. I turned the flow way down but my make long fine betta kept getting caught in the over flow. Can leave it run all the time because they get sucked in the over flow they hide behind their plants when I turn the filter on
Awful fish tank. Runs all the time. You constantly have to fill it with water. The little tanks are way too small. When it needs more water, the tanks make an awful grinding sound. The current is too strong for the fish. So if you buy one anyways. Make sure you put a rock or some grounded plants in it. To help block the water movement.
This is a beautiful piece but it's not very practical. You have to turn the pump off every time you feed. Otherwise, the food just goes with the water flow. And it's extremely difficult to clean. You cannot hear the water flow. Maybe if it was not quite so expensive, it would be worth it.
I ordered this fish tank for my sons birthday and got 7$ bag of GRANOLA INSTEAD and they would not refund me my 57$ cause I didn't have enough proof when I sent them a picture of the granola that came in the box
I purchased the double Betta kit aquarium. Poorly designed for Bettas. Bettas are fighters & needless to say I have one Betta now cause he overflowed into lower tank & killed the Betta that was in it! Separate tanks thinking 2 fish for grandkids but almost 5.00 a fish at lost. Don't waste your money or use it for small fish like tetras but definitely not Bettas!!!
