Aqueon EcoRenew Replacement Filter Cartridges Small Small, 3-Pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these EcoRenew Filter cartridges from Aqueon and Influenster for my review. This pack is size medium for filter size 10-20, internal filter size 15-30 for use in Aqueon Smartclean power filters. We have a 20 gallon fish tank. This pack comes with 3, that you change roughly every 4weeks. These cartridges are easy to use, biodegradable, and fully compostable. They are made from sustainable fibers and infused with carbon. In my experience you do have to change them about every 4 weeks, we have 2 messy goldfish in our tank. We are using them in a freshwater tank, you can use them with saltwater also. My fish are very happy with this product!

The one runs a lot quieter and it was super easy to install to my filter. It’s easy to maintain and change and they seem to also last longer! This is definitely my new go to!!

They are working very well so far with me and very effective like the regular filters. very efficient at cleaning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I highly recommend Aqueon EcoRenew Filter Cartridges! These work much better than other brands I used before. The water stays clear longer, and I notice less debris in my tank. I love that they are made from sustainable materials, so they are better for the environment. They also fit perfectly in my filter, and installation is very easy. Compared to other cartridges, these last longer and don’t clog as quickly. My fish seem happier with cleaner water! The price is also good for the quality. I will definitely keep using these instead of my old brand. Thanks to Influenster and Aqueon for the complimentary product—I’m so glad I got to try them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These filter cartridges are average at best and bend when inserting in the filter.. I was very hopeful they would slide in but they didn’t! The worked ok when inserted but I feel the integrity of them was compromised by them bending. They were a promotional and free item so the price was perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that there is no plastic waste with these and that they are biodegradable. They seem to work just as well as normal filters from the past. So, with the upside of less waste I’d pick these over the old carbon filters. They were easy to put into the filter. My only complaint is that wherever they came from took forever to ship and get them to me.

I have a 20 year old triangular shaped 2.5 gallon Beta tank. Had to buy a new pump and filters. At first, the water was crystal clear for a few days. Even after rinsing the filter, the water has turned cloudy. There is only one fish in there. Might have to search for another filter, this one is only 3 weeks old and doesn't look dirty but is frayed. Feels like black plastic but it says biodegradable? $10 for three is high.

I would recommend this but to soak it in water and let the color seep out. It works well for little time like couple weeks. It is effective for few weeks. Overall I don’t like how it fills my tank with black fragments but does its job.
