The one runs a lot quieter and it was super easy to install to my filter. It’s easy to maintain and change and they seem to also last longer! This is definitely my new go to!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these EcoRenew Filter cartridges from Aqueon and Influenster for my review. This pack is size medium for filter size 10-20, internal filter size 15-30 for use in Aqueon Smartclean power filters. We have a 20 gallon fish tank. This pack comes with 3, that you change roughly every 4weeks. These cartridges are easy to use, biodegradable, and fully compostable. They are made from sustainable fibers and infused with carbon. In my experience you do have to change them about every 4 weeks, we have 2 messy goldfish in our tank. We are using them in a freshwater tank, you can use them with saltwater also. My fish are very happy with this product!

These cartridges are made from sustainable fibers infused with carbon, making them both biodegradable and compostable . The dual sided design effectively captures debris and impurities, keeping my aquarium water clear and healthy. I also appreciate the NoDrip feature, which minimizes mess during cartridge changes.   The manufacturer recommends replacing the cartridges approximately every four weeks to maintain optimal performance . While they are designed specifically for Aqueon QuietFlow Internal Power Filters with SmartClean Technology, it’s important to ensure compatibility with your specific filter model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] these are carbon coated good for environment filters. Just like regular filters I’ve had before very easy to replace and install. Piece of cake. They are working very well so far with me and very effective like the regular filters. very efficient at cleaning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These filter cartridges are average at best and bend when inserting in the filter.. I was very hopeful they would slide in but they didn’t! The worked ok when inserted but I feel the integrity of them was compromised by them bending. They were a promotional and free item so the price was perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that there is no plastic waste with these and that they are biodegradable. They seem to work just as well as normal filters from the past. So, with the upside of less waste I’d pick these over the old carbon filters. They were easy to put into the filter. My only complaint is that wherever they came from took forever to ship and get them to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to try Aqueon EcoRenew Replacement Filter Cartridges and was, overall, pretty satisfied with them! I love that they’re so eco-friendly! Finding a filter that is biodegradable, compostable and made with sustainable fibers is definitely a plus. However, because they’re infused with carbon, getting them out of the packaging and into your tank is a messy task. I wasn’t expecting black powder to get all over everything in its path (including me). I could have definitely done without the mess but, if having an eco-friendly replacement filter cartridge is important to you, I think these are still worth trying 🙂

I would recommend this but to soak it in water and let the color seep out. It works well for little time like couple weeks. It is effective for few weeks. Overall I don’t like how it fills my tank with black fragments but does its job.
